Wierd response went to charge my razr v3 today, and the screen said "unable to charge" I can't clear the screen, nor can I turn the phone off. I can't make calls nor can I receive any
Take out the battery then put it back in power up the phone, then try to do a master reset and clear.....if this does not fix your problem , take the phone to a professional and have the phone service or reflash the firmware on the phone.

this problem has probably occured due to the phone being knocked. i used to have a motorola l7 slvr and it did exactly the same, i found that if you hit the back of the phone fairly hard the screen would come back on. im not sure if it is the same for the razr but hey its worth a try. ti be honest i think motorola are terrible mobile phone manufacturers but great 2way radio manufacturers
I had exactly the same problem. After unsucessfully looking for a solution on the net I removed the simm chip and set it aside. The next day, I put it on PC usb charge and left it overnight. The next day, I powered it up and it worked. I turned it off and replaced the simm and it is now working fine. Go figure...
This may or may not work but give it a shot. At times the silver battery contacts can get a small amount of buildup on them preventing a good contact. Remove the battery and sim chip from the phone, take a regular pencil eraser and clean the contacts on both the battery and sim chip. Clean the eraser residue off both and reinstall. Charge the phone for a couple of hours and try it out. Hope this helps!
