Gas 2007 Ezgo has new battery but won' crank. Clicks in forward and buzzes in reverse

Sounds like you have a bad connection or a bad positive cable. I would remove all connections one at a time, clean the terminal ends and reconnect. If you are able to move the positive cable up and down and get a clicking, you may have a fusible link in the positive cable that has blown and by moving it up and down you are making a slight connection.

• Okay, a clicking sound is the solenoid engaging the starter drive gear but the starting motor is not turning over. First possible is low battery. Second is bad or dirty connection, usually battery terminal. Good enough to energize solenoid but not enough amps to spin starter. Third is a bad starter motor, usually a brush corroded, worn or stuck.
• Lift the hood and look at the battery terminals. if they are clean and tight, check the battery for charge. I usually hook a booster on and try cranking the engine over. ZIf it works, charge or replace the battery.
• If it didn't crank, Take a jumper cable and connect the one end to the battery positive. Touch the other end to the starter motor terminal. Motor should turn over, if not, replace the starter.

Try rocking it forward and back.. Brake may be under stress and unable to disengage.

Most likely you have a bad connection somewhere. Trace the battery cables and clean/tighten all terminals or try jumping to a different lug. You might also try removing the starter and jumping directly to the starter to verify that it is good.

your starter is the 1 which is damaged n if they say or u check it n find that its gud then its your terminals they are loose somewhere

Take battery cable off and clean them with a wire brush then retighten them.Its sounds like they are just not tight enough.Also make sure to clean the posts on the battery too.If it still just clicks then check the battery voltage you should have at least 12 volts.If you don't you will to charge it and if it does'nt take a charge then replace it.

Have you checked the battery terminals too to see if the cables are lose or having alot of acid on the terminals, if so please clean the terminals one at a time by using a wrench to unlose the bolts that hold the cables to the negative first and then to the positive cable but make sure that you do not put the wrench touching both the positive and negative battery terminals or your battery will explode putting acid all over you !!! Another thing is that does your starter ever make a clicking sound when you try to turn it over with key ? When you try to start the car with key that the car starter should make a clicking sound that engages it into the engine so to start it up. If this is not happening then it might be your starter not engaging into engine.

Sounds like a classic ground problem for sure.
Make sure the battery terminals are really clean,try vinigar to clean them.
Bet it starts,if not check the solinoid somewhere mounted on the fender or firewall.

If it just clicks, it's not getting sufficient power to crank. Check battery terminals/connections. There may be corrosion or they may be loose, both would cause your problem of it just clicking. If the connections are clean and tight and it still clicks, the battery may need a charge or it may need replacement.

your starter need new contacts for the solenoid. Most garages will sell you a new starter. Find a Alternator/Starter shop that can replace them for you. its a lot cheaper than a new stater.
