it would be hard to tell with the new fakes getting better and better and you just giving a description of it wont work --best bet is to see if a coach store or a high end designer store can authentic it

if you don't know how to check for fakes,then you need to get out of the business,you DO NOT go by any numbers or serial numbers,those are just as easy to fake ,too,you didn't say what kind of bag,so,i assumed it was gucci,the bag sells for 22 bucks,all bags have zippers that dont stick,threading that is straight,emblems that are centered in every cut of the bag,coach has a certain way that the use their emblem,here is a gucci,you need to learn how to google or bing search or people will take advantage of you.

check to make sure real leather, stitching is symmetrical and logos are true logos. take to retail store.

If they faked the purse, they would have faked the number also.

That is not a good solution, the maker of a fake bag usually finds one good serial number from a real bag, then uses that same serial number over and over again. No way to tell unless you call Coach to check who that serial number is registered to - it might be real but stolen.

I think you have to give your handbag to handbag repair shop for replacing lanyard. You can replace it by designer lanyard which gives unique look to your handbag.

christine93, Seller could give good serial # number fake watch. Contact Cartier on Bond street with serial # to make sure it was serviced and have them ship. EWorth it to know it is real. Many fakes are out there. If real cheap usually a fake.
