Well, it depends on how long is that "period of time"!
All cars produced for use in the United States will have those lights, and others, on for up to about 5 seconds after the engine has started.
(That is time for the computer to test all the systems for proper functioning).
If yours stay on longer, I should ask some other Chrysler owners how long their lights stay on.
Fixing it could be expensive, you may wish to get a few good estimates first.
God bless your efforts.

How do i turn back on esc

The ESC light will go out when the ABS system is repaired. The skid may have damaged a speed sensor or some other component causing both lights to stay on.

What would cause Check engine light, ESC off light, and ABS light to come on?

You'll need to have someone scan the engine and body computers to get the trouble codes. The ESC and ABS could be on because of a problem connected to the engine computer, or they could have their own issues in addition to the engine. All three systems work together.

Service traction system

Don't mess with the ABS light get it diagnosed and fixed. Your brakes will work with the ABS light on but you will skid because the system will switch to basic hydraulic action with no control of how much to each wheel. If ABS is on then it is not working.

TCS light, ABS light, 4 wheel drive light, come on periodically! What causes this? What is the solution? Thanks in advance

Possibly a wheel bearing is going out, which can cause the speed sensor to lose signal quality. Please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r6003525-abs_traction_control_lights . These are genericinstructions. If you get stuck or need specific instructions for your car, please get back to me with model, year and engine info.

2006 Sonata ESC Off Light

I had the same problem at 35,000 miles. I would be driving and suddenly the ESC Off Light would illuminate. It would disappear if the car was turned off, only to reappear after a few miles of driving. It turned out to be a faulty "brake light switch."
