Your question is not clear, however I presume you have a newer version of SD card. If you bought the camera back in 2007, SD cards like the Ex-Pro® SD 8GB SDHC Secure Digital Memory Cards will work with your camera. If you insert a recent version of SD card, your camera will not communicate with it.

Greetings Joe - The Yashica uses the classic and pretty much universal Pentax style M42 lens mount.
There is no button, switch, etc. You just turn the lens counterclockwise to remove and clockwise to install a lens. See picture below.

For your tapes, if you've tried it on several cameras, it may be that your tapes have been damaged or deteriorated with old age. You can take them to a professional to have them cleaned and treated, but that is no guarantee that they will work thereafter, I'm afraid.
