A compass is advised when you're going on a hiking trip in
an unfamiliar environment where you have to use some navigational skills; the
compass is very useful in helping you navigate to the right direction.
you have a heater core leak. If you start seeing coolant on the passenger side floor, that is another dead giveaway. This is not any easy replacement, you will have to remove the entire dashboard. Heater cores are pretty cheap though, the last one i bought was for a dodge, it was $35.00. I hope this helps.
ABSOLUTELY! If that is not the problem, you may have tripped the anti-theft device. This will require the serial number from the radio and a phonecall or trip to the dealer!
Sounds too simple to be the entire problem, but here's a simple (and free) possible fix: Check the circuit breaker. It will be a dual breaker. If just one side is tripped, it could stop power to the entire unit.

This is how you do it make sure the trip has the odometer showing, not the Trip A or B.
Reset the system by the following procedure: 1. Turn the ignition key to the “LOCK” position with the odometer reading shown. 2. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position while holding down the “ODO/TRIP” button. Hold down the button for at least 5 seconds. The odometer indicates “000000” and the light goes off. If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing. I have used this in every RX330 i have ever done. will not work if trip a or b is showing though
