I have a Antec performance all tower that use too beep when turned on now its just a solid orange light and does nothing

All PC's beep when turned on, it is a sign that the system has passed power up test. If it is not beeping then the system is faulty. It could be a power supply failure or something else.

My pc is shutting down and I can't wake it up without shutting down the power from power supply. The Antec 300 tower has two blue lights- the top light starts blinking when it has shut down and I

sounds like a power supply problem

Test your PSU power supply unit or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle of restarting or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive power and data cables IDE SATA
the leads from your MOTHERBOARD TO YOUR HARD DRIVE make sure they have a secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty

My tower was working fine till i moved it when booting up it now reads 'no signal detected'

Looks like when you moved the pc you have made the graphics card just come out a little if you open the case up pull the card out re seat it should work depending on what card and what board you have you may have another slot you can put it in.
or there will be jumper refresh on the board to flash the bios to clear the internal memory you may have to do that but that should fix your issue.

My power supply died (popped), so I replaced it (Antec SL350 with an Antec SL350S). However, when I turned on the switch on the back of the power supply, the motherboard powered up immediately (tower...

If you "popped" the power supply, I would check to see if the RAM might have taken a hit as well. Ram chips and CPU are sensitive when it comes to power surges. I would troubleshoot the system, unplug everything. you need monitor, power, cpu, and ram (1 at a time). Check to see if the system will POST. if you do get it to POST, start with 1 item at a time and see if the system will POST every time. If nothing happens, there is a chance you may have a damaged motherboard or cpu.

I have an Antec full tower with a 350W power supply it seems somewhat old...i hooked everything up inside and tried to turn it on but it would not turn on any suggestions?

First, is there power from the power supply? Is the power supply turned on in the back? If there is powere to the Mobo, then the mobo is likely the problem. The cpu fan fan should spin if there is ower to the board.

I need help installing a cd drive in an Antec Sonata III 500 computer case. How do I do it?

Unplug the power from the computer. Open the case cover. Carefully remove the placeholder on the front of the case where you wish to install the CD drive. Make sure you have the proper ribbon cable for the type of drive you are installing and that you know where to plug it into the motherboard (consult your motherboard manual).

Use the screws provided to secure the drive to the chassis rails (make face of drive flush with front of case). Attach an available power supply connector to the new CD drive. Close the cover.

Pluging in extra usb ports/Mic and headphone jacks from the tower

Answer me this. You're case is an Antec tower? The motherboard is the Asus P4P800 SE ? Is this correct?
If you have you're manual you can see what goes where on the board for front panel connector page. 2-31. (This diagram shows you how to connect the front mic & speaker).
To connect the Antec's front USB ports plug the case USB front connectors onto USB56 & USB78 shown on page. 2-30. Most case wires are already set within their USB connectors & the Antec's front USB connector should fit right on the mother board's pin's. If you need you're user manual, download from Asus by clicking on this link. http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?modelname=P4P800%20SE&SLanguage=en-us

Good Luck!

P/S replacement in Gateway 2000 model year Tower

Gateway may have a unique non standard pinout for its P/S. I would match up the colors in sequence on the new PS and see if the old harness had the 6 pin connector and graft them into the new harness. The colors are standard for voltage.
