I have a citroen c2 56 plate and my driver side window stopped working the switch is not lit up and i cant find the fuse any help would be brill thanks

It sounds like the switches on the drivers door may have malfunctioned. You could try replacing the switches, but it may be easier to take it to a mechanic to diagnose the issue and replace the switches if needed. You could also check the wiring and connections to the switches to make sure they are all secure and connected properly.

All the windows are fused by just one fuse, if it goes all the windows stop working. You either have a defective driver door control switch or the window regulator motor is defective. I would think the motor inside the door that lifts the window is the issue here. You can verify it (window motor defective) by doing this simple test, at night open the door and leave it open, operate the driver door window switch and watch the interior lights (dome light in particular), they will dim just very slightly if the motor is defective, if they do not dim then the switch is likely the cause.

folks out side UK have no clue what my51 plate
we use the VIN to learn what year it is. and engine,and what country sold to.
is dash heater blower dead? on even high? speed?
test 1 of 10 . or so.
test 2 does pcm scans show ect at 180 to 200f temp?
google 200f to C and get your answer.
test 2 do both fire wall hoses, to heater core feel super hot, hand flays off?
i not both the core is clogged
if all hoses water feel cool they are and thermostat bad or missing

Its not a fuse its the button on window .now first remove the button its self, try to raise window now . if it dose not work its the window switch replace the switch that controls 4 windows in drivers door

I have a dispatch 52 plate with no working reverse lights, I THINK I need a new reverse light switch which is ment to be with the bulk of the engine but I cant for the life of me find it, any help would be great

This sounds like a stuck switch,try to unplug the switch (drivers side window) first and it should cure your problem.Let me know if this does it,,if not i will help you solve this issue

If all the other windows work, you don't have a fuse problem. You have a power switch problem that starts at the drivers door. Go live and I can walk you through it.

There is a recall on the power window lift plates on some certain chrysler models.......
I cant recall exactly which year model it is but I am a chrysler tech. and have had to change them
before...If the lift plate is not the problem you will have to change the window regulator which is not very cheap....You may be lucky and it could be a fuse blown or just a power switch but I doubt it very highly because of working on them I have never seen the switch go bad yet or a blown fuse...
You should call the chrysler dealer and give them your vin # year and model and they will be able to tell you...All you can do is if the fuse is good you have to check for power from the switch to the power window motor...If power is there you will have to buy the regulator unit because of design..

I have a 98 Camry and was having problems with tail lights and fuses. I kept blowing a fuse which was making my tail lights not work. I tried paying very close attention to when they would be working and all the sudden not be working. I know it sounded funny, but I told my mechanic that it seemed if I used my trunk, my fuse would blow. Come to find out, the wire was touching the hinges of my trunk. So when I popped my trunk and closed it, it blew my fuse every time.
