Installed new battery from NewPower99 but tablet does not power on

possible bad battery.

I tried the DIY
service and repair manuals from a website and it actually helped me repair transmission problem in my ford explorer. it wont move forward or reverse, engine is good both solenoids for forward and reverse work.
I don't have much technical knowledge but I just followed it step-wise, and works perfect! got it from www.reliable-store.com

Just to refine the question a little more, are u long pressing the power button to restart it, and if so, is anything happening? If nothing is happening, have you charged the unit after putting in new battery? Did your tablet powerup before u replaced the battery, if so, it could be a defective new battery, it' rare, but does happen more than u might think.

This is a loaded question... really. It has factors involved.
Are you watching videos, is the brightness all the way on 100? Or is it set on auto. Are you using bluetooth, and other power consuming actions on the tablet?
All of these things weigh in on whether a battery lasts 2 hours or 4....6....8.

If your battery is wearing down in 2 hours. Age of the tablet my constitute a battery replacement. Always wait until a battery is empty before charging it up.
Get an app stopping program. Installed so as to not having apps running in the background, draining your battery without you even knowing it.

Hello, Christina. I'm not sure of the make and model of your tablet or how old it is, but here are some tips. It sounds like, but I'm not positive, there may be a high number of background apps running on your device. Also when caches get full, especially on android devices, the system tries to find someplace to store new data and will flash a previous screen and fail. There are many apps that are cpu and transceiver intensive and use a considerable amount of battery power whether the screen is on or not. If the tablet is at its amperage limit and its plugged in, the charging voltage is being used to run the apps and the device has to be completely shut down to replenish the battery. Newer devices have better power management and no charge status indicates battery health decline. I would suggest clearing caches and deleting browsing histories in your browsers. Be sure to bookmark pages often visited for easy recollection and keep histories clear. Look through installed apps and remove anything that may be adware related. Your rechargeable battery has simply gone dead. (They do not last forever.) Install a new battery, and you'll be good as new.

Does this have an SD card installed? If so it might be corrupted or failing. If not, try a hard shutdown or of you have access to battery area remove battery for a minute then reinstall battery and power tablet back up. One other option would be to go into download and delete any failed downloads and try them again.

have you tried turning off tablet with charger plugged in and letting it charge up. You should see a battery symbol come onto the screen with a pulsing level indicating the battery is being charged. hold in power till unit turns off then plug in charger cable into tablet and switch on charger at power point . Do not try and push power switch to power up tablet see if screen indicates charging is occurring. I have experienced this exact problem on a samsung tablet !

I'm afraid the battery will have to be replaced. Meanwhile, do not use it with the power supply; not only it will do no good, as you already determined, but it might damage the power supply itself.
