  1. Use a browser in the BlackBerry PlayBook or a personal or laptop computer and go to the BlackBerry ID Password Reset page.
  2. Enter your username (your BlackBerry ID) in the first box.
  3. Enter the slightly scrambled verification code in the second box. The CAPTCHA system helps prevent computerized attempts at cracking password codes; presumably humans are better at reading those oddly shaped characters. If you have trouble with one set, tap Refresh the Image to get a new group.
  4. Click Submit.
If you've done it correctly, a confirmation message tells you that reset instructions have been sent to the BlackBerry ID e-mail address. For security reasons, the reset instructions don't go to your BlackBerry smartphone or to your BlackBerry PlayBook. The idea is to prevent an unauthorized user from picking up either device and gaining control of it.
  5. On a personal or laptop computer, log in to the e-mail account you specified and find the message.
You can log in also on any other e-mail-capable device other than your BlackBerry PlayBook or BlackBerry smartphone. The message comes from [email protected]. If you can't find it, check the spam folder.
  6. Click the link in the message.
A web browser should load on the device; if it doesn't, tap the link and copy; then open a browser and paste it there.
  7. When the password reset page loads, enter a new password for your BlackBerry ID.
  8. Now confirm.

How do I unlock my sandisk cruzer 8 Gb if I lost the password key for my pen drive ?

if you have lost the password, you could attempt using a password cracker, but there are no legitimate methods for recovering a lost USB password.

How do I unlock my samsung android if I forgot my password ?

Turn off your tablet, then, once turn off, press volume up and power simultaneously, you will then come to recovery, once on recovery, select factory reset, or data/ wipe reset, it will reformat itself to factory default settings, but be reminded that it will erase all your downloaded application, photos that are stored in device memory, your contacts, if its backup and sync through gmail, you will recover them again, your photos if backed up to dropbox, you can also recover, your downloaded apps, try to log in to play store, check my apps, and you can download them again.

good luck.

Pattern unlock

Some phones have a backup PIN available, but it doesn't sound like you have one. If you're set up with a Google account, you may be able to recover the pattern that way. A hard Power Off, where you hold the power key down for ten seconds when turning it off, will reboot the phone, and might reset the number of attempts. It's not clear whether you're out of attempts or just forgot the pattern. If none of these work or are available, you're probably going to have to reset the phone to factory settings. This will wipe out all of your photos, contacts, and so forth, unless those are saved on your SIM card or an SD memory chip.

Forgot my blackberry curve 9300 keyboard lock

This lock code is something you would have chosen, their is no default code and no way to recover it. This is by design for security reasons. You have 10 attempts in total to guess if you don't remember the password. After 5 attempts the letters you type will no longer be hidden behind "*". After 10 attempts the phone will be wiped clean. All of your data will be lost. Hopefully you have been connecting your phone to your pc and doing a regular backup. If you have synchronization activated with your email accounts (done during initial setup of gmail or exchange type email accounts) you won't loose your contacts. Anything else that is on the internal memory of the phone will be lost.

I have forgot password for my blackberry 9700 and i am on 8th attempt. Please help me how do recover my password. Thanks

Sorry to tell but at the moment there is no way to overcome that problem other than typing your password in 10 times and having all your data wiped. Once it has been wiped you can then set a new password to it. I hope you have everything backed up!

I want to unlock my bb 9700 which i wrongly typed unlock code to more than 10 times.can i still use the phone again and how do i go about it?

Yes, definitely you can still use the phone but it will be restored to it's Manufacturers settings.

Just enter the incorrect password x10 times and your Blackberry will be wiped. Your personal data will be gone, but you can then enter a new password and start again.

note:

After the 10th attempt, if you get the password wrong, it will have you type in blackberry again and it will completely wipe your Blackberry of all your personal data and it will reload itself back to factory default.

Basically, this is a security measure in case someone gets a hold of your Blackberry and attempts to break in to get your personal information. RIM Blackberry does NOT have your password, so unfortunately a RIM tech support agent cannot retrieve your password.

Hopefully you have created a backup of your Data using the Desktop Manager, so if you cannot remember your password and the device wipes itself, you can restore your data from the backup with the Desktop Manager

I want to reset my blackberry 8830

Set a password on the device (Options, Security Options, General Settings, Password "enabled". It will prompt you to create a password). Lock the device or turn it off. Enter an incorrect password. Keep trying to enter an incorrect password. It will likely have you type in the word "blackberry" after about 5 incorrect attempts. After five more incorrect attempts it will likely have you type in the word "blackberry" again and warn you that it is about wipe the handheld. Do this and it will wipe the handheld.

Cannot unlock my kepad as forgotton what i chose as keypad lock password

Your only option is to keep entering passwords and once you have 10 incorrect attempts, the device will be wiped back to Factory Settings (data gone for security of lost devices). You can then reintialize the device with a new password of your choice.

My 512 MB Micro SD memory card is locked

Recently I wrote an article to recover deleted SMS from mobile phones . Here is another related one ,which deals with memory card password . We can use the same software that we used in the above case to recover memory card password from mobile phones .

Method 1 : Recover memory card password , using Fexplorer.

As I said, we need Fexplorer for this mobile hack .After installation , Browse to c:\system folder in your mobile phone . Here you would find a file mmcstore .This file is actually used to store memory card passwords in a mobile phone . Rename this file to mmcstore.txt and open with notepad . Now you will see the memory card password as it is ,exactly .

Method 2 :Unlock memory card passwords of Nokia Nseries and Eseries phones

The first hack to recover the password of memory cards will not work on Nokia Nseries and Nokia Eseries devices . Here we will use the remote lock feature for re-setting the password . For this , go to your pones settings >Security >Phone and SIM> and then allow Remote lock . The password of your remote lock will be the password of your memory card .So if you want to change the memory card password , just send an SMS containing your remote lock message .
