Screen Blackout After watching for a period of time, the screen on our Dell W3201C 32 In. LCD goes black. Audio continues and the tv shows the input but there is no video. Is there something we can do to fix it without involving Dell Customer Support? Our warranty has expired. Thanks.

Screen goes blank on Samsung LCD TV. Comes back on if tilt or move screen.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you may have a LCD tab(s) that are failing.

Code is 3355

If that fails, try this
* Press and hold the Input Source button - on the TV (not on the remote); continue to hold it until the last step
* Press and release the Power button
* The TV turns off
* Press and release the Power button
* The TV turns on
* Wait 10 seconds
* A message appears saying the TV has been reset
* Release the Input Source button

I have a TV/Computer screen, that has a sound, no picture and it looks cracked in the inner upper part of the screen. It is a Dell LCD Screen. Plenty of color all over but definetely no picture.

If you are getting a display which looks like random colour & lines spread across the screen which appears to radiate from a central area this will be the source of the crack on the screen. The only remedy is to have the screen replaced. As you say this will not affect the audio.

Blackout area on screen

Make sure the TEXT and CAPTION options are turned off.

I am not sure about the Sonny's, but on my Toshiba a black box appears when I inadvertently leave one of the close captioning (CC) on for text or captions on (such as CC1, CC2, etc.).

Plasma tv screen goes black once you turn it on. Only sound

I have a panasonic TH-42PX60U plasma TV. When I watch TV programing I have no problems, or with the DVD input. But if I switch to another input, be it video game (PS2) or vcr the screen sometimes goes black and the red power lcd light next to the power switch flashes. Holding the power button in for a few seconds will shut down the tv. Then I can turn it back on and it may operate normally again for a undetermined period of time, before the screen goes black again. This never happened when new. The tv is about 1 year old. Any ideas on this problem? Thanks Ernie

Flashing screen when ps2 or dvd player is plugged into my LCD 3201C

I had the same problem!
This TV does not go down to a 480 resolution! If I know that, I would of never bought this TV. I cant use my VHS, PS2, Nintendo (Original). So now I'm trying to save money to get a 120Hz HDTV :P

I have the same problem on my 32 in,after having the Tv on for about 3 hours Tv turns off, every 10-20 min. tv turns off. very upset with DELL. , blue light stays on.... what can i do to fix promblem.......

Don't bother with DELL if out of warranty, they can't fix it. Have the same model and same problem
probably It is a bad inverter board, in my case one of the 16 transformers is burnt out on the inverter board. still trying to find a replacement component. if not replacing the board is the only option or getting the inverter board repaired.

by the way, this TV has a Samsung panel: model LTA320W2-L03. so it needs parts for a Samsong not a DELL.
DELL does not manufacture or fix them becuase they don't make them
