If you really wish to have your air duct clean well, it makes sense to hire the experts (unless you are an expert yourself, of course)l. This is the job that takes time and requires deep understanding of the subject matter as well as skills and experience. I've recently hired one of the companies for professional Dryer Vent Cleaning Toronto https://comfortclean.com/dryer-vent-cleaning and I'm completely satisfied with the result. Everything was done on the top notch level and they also charge reasonable prices of their services. Check them out, when needed.

You can take it all apart and clean it by hand, or take the cap off the outside and use a leaf blower to push out all the build up

May tag it heat up but no air is comming of the hose that leads out side

Your vent is propably restricted with lint. Have entire dryer vent system cleaned. Make sure first that the dryer is blowing ok by taking hose off back of dryer. If air comes out dryer without hose attached but no air out vent when hose is attached then the vent hose or duct work in house is clogged.

Dryer says check filter and it is clean

Air flow in the duct work is restricted... and the dryer sensor thinks that the filter is clogged.

You will need to take a fluffy cleaning wand and, with the filter removed, try loosening up some of the accumulated line in the duct.

Next, remove the lint pipe from the wall connector and try cleaning it and the pipe for as much distance as you can reach.

Finally, go outside and check the vent. It needs to be clean and clear of obstructions... also, needs to close when the machine is off.
You can do testing on the outside vent with "air dry" setting - hot air is not required... Keep cleaning ductwork until the outside vent passes air freely.

After air flow is restored, the sensor in the "VENT" alarm will act nice.....and stay off

My dryer turns, but it doesn't dry my clothes. After drying several time they are still damp

, your vent duct is probably obstructed (it happens over time). If your model is the type where you could feel air if you removed the lint trap, do so and turn the dryer on. If you get warm air there... you know it is in the ducting, in the back of the machine, or at the wall vent. Pull off your duct, and give it a good cleaning. Clean out the back of the machine, and the wall vent. When you reinstall the ducting, minimize any twists and turns possible.
If the coils are good, but you get no heat, the problem may be the thermostat or the motor switch.

The dryer on gets warm and takes a long time to dry clothes

Very common problem. You need to call a
duct cleaning company and tell them to clean
your dryer vent. Rule-of-thumb: dryer vents
should be cleaned every couple of years to
prevent them from being clogged with lint and
causing lint fires. This is definitely your problem.
Good luck :)

p.s. one way to verify a clogged vent is
to go outside where the vent exits the house
and feel the air-flow. should have adequate air-flow.

Takes long to dry

Hello,

The reason the dryer takes longer to dry is due to inadequate air-flow.
