Matched 1 double get 0 credit on 5/11. Matched 4 doubles get 3 credit & 1 doubles get 0 credit on 5/12. Tonight 5/13 matched 3 doubles get 1 credit & 2 doubles get 1 credit.

SOURCE: Double vision display

sounds like you have one or more bad LCD panels in the projector. replacement of the panels will fix the problem, but the cost of the panels is around 500.00 each; there are three panels.

SOURCE: Doorbell doesn't work

Have you tried to bring the remote (Push button) into the house and go to where the receiver is located and see if it works. It can be hard to see the battery polarity positions in the remote. Check to be sure that the battery is in correctly. If you cannot bring the remote into the house, try relocating the receiver to a receptacle closer to the entry. If all this fails, try buying a replacement remote (button) and matching the code pin settings.

SOURCE: double vision

I'm assuming you have set the dioptre correctly for your eyes.

Normally this is caused by a collimation error when one (or both) prisms move. This can be by a small amount.

Your going to have to take them in for service/repair to fix this as is not a DIY problem. (Unless of course you have a collimator lying around)

SOURCE: headlight bulb replacement 2000 chevy malibu trouble

to replace headlight, on top of headlight assembly , there are 2 plastic slide pins one on each side. pull up on these slide pins to remove headlight assembly. then you can replace the bulbs. when putting back on , push in on headlight assembly and push the pins back down to hold assembly in.

Acer aspire m5100, AMD Athlon 64bit x2 dual core processor 5000+ 2.60Ghz. Win Vista Business 64bit. When i upgrade and put more than 3GB of ram into the machine, it turns off the lan and my display driver...

Acer official site says:-
Up to 4 GB DDR2 533/667/800 MHz SDRAM
(dual-channel support on four DIMMs)

Try these bus speeds and for dual-channel support read this article :-

Dual-channel architecture requires a dual-channel-capable motherboard and two or more DDR, DDR2 SDRAM, or DDR3 SDRAM memory modules. The memory modules are installed into matching banks, which are usually color coded on the motherboard. These separate channels allow each memory module access to the memory controller, increasing throughput bandwidth. It is not required that identical modules be used, but this is often recommended for best dual-channel operation. It is possible to use a single-sided module of 512 MB and a double-sided module of 512 MB in dual-channel configuration, but how fast and stable it is depends on the memory controller.

If the motherboard has two pairs of differently colored DIMM sockets (the colors indicate which bank they belong to, bank 0 or bank 1), then one can place a matched pair of memory modules in bank 0, but a different-capacity pair of modules in bank 1, as long as they are of the same speed. Using this scheme, a pair of 1 GB memory modules in bank 0 and a pair of matched 512 MB modules in bank 1 would be acceptable for dual-channel operation.

Modules rated at different speeds can be run in dual-channel mode, although the motherboard will then run all memory modules at the speed of the slowest module. Some motherboards, however, have compatibility issues with certain brands or models of memory when attempting to use them in dual-channel mode. For this reason, it is generally advised to use identical pairs of memory modules, which is why most memory manufacturers now sell "kits" of matched-pair DIMMs. Several motherboard manufacturers only support configurations where a "matched pair" of modules are used. A matching pair needs to match in.

Good luck

We have used a laser cleaner, but it steal read no disc. it would play the laser cleaner though???

Forgive me if you know this already.

you need to eliminate whether the disc has been finalised before coming to you from another dvd player.
Check your dvd has the correct code, and that disc and dvd are correctly matched .
Look in the front of your manual and it will tell you alist of what the dvd can or can`t play.
All that sorted. Now try this ,I think there might be condensation in the dvd unit.
Take any dvd`s out if you can,but don`t worry if not.

Take the unit into a warm room, plug in to the mains and leave for 2-3hours.

Hope i`ve helped.

Tyan Thunder K8HM no POST

It sounds like you?re an experienced hardware guy so I won?t bore you with the basics. When I?ve gotten stuck on a new motherboard no-booting problem these steps have helped me: -Make this as basic a machine as possible. You don?t need much of anything to get the POST to display and anything else just adds more variables. -double check the processor and memory, ensure they are correct for the board. Make sure the manual is the correct one for your board. -Try setting the BIOS to the manufacturers ?Safe? settings or default settings. You might even want to pull the backup battery out, unplug the power supply and let it set for 30 minutes to void the BIOS settings. -Verify the power supply is working correctly, preferably with a power supply tester. If you can?t then try putting this power supply in another computer to make sure it not only turns fans on but really supplies the correct voltage needed to make things work. -Buy or borrow a pre-boot test card. This is a diagnostic card that plugs into a PCI slot of your PC and will give you a much better diagnosis of what is going on. You can usually pick one up for about $35. - Make sure your CPU fan is plugged into the right motherboard connector, the newer boards will check for the CPU fan. I would suspect that if this were the case you would see something on the screen but you never know. Last but not least you might actually have a defective board. Granted it doesn?t happen too often but I?ve had two or three dead out of the box over the past few years. Chances are if you?ve gone thorough all of this and relate the steps to Tyan support they will send you a replacement. And if the new board does the same thing then you only have two remaining variables left; CPU and memory. Good luck and if you have any other questions please let us know.
