Why do so many people assume we know what you are talking about? Please give as much detail as possible when asking questions. What is the equipment you are talking about, model numbers too, what are you trying to do and describe precisely the issue you are having.
The question above seems to warrant the answer " Diagnosis: You are constipated. Solution: Take a laxative."

Fishman LBX-001 2006 model. I'm having an issue with my guitar amp. It does not get any sound from an acoustic guitar, I tested my guitar in another amp and it works well. I plug an electric guitar into my...

I am no expert about such things but the electric guitar pickups work with steel strings, wouldn't work if the strings weren't steel - the pickup is a coil of wire and the vibration of the steel string generates an output in the coil the amplifier can work with.

The pickups of the acoustic guitar are presumably glorified microphones that would usually work in a similar fashion to the above, by generating an output but if they are active devices they will need a power supply in order to generate an output, something a standard amplifier input will not provide.

An active device either needs an independent power supply to make the device work like a radio needs a battery or the device will create the output by varying the current flow of the voltage applied across it.

My zoom g1x theres no sound.all power are working lcd light are on.but the sound cannot come out.can any one help me..

What letters / numbers that appears on the screen?
If the display is normal, and you can switch to other banks, and can edit each bank, then the problem of no sound, is at the pre-amp IC input, output amp, or CODEC converter.
This is the overall image of G1X inside.zoom-g1x-theres-no-sound-all-power-2ss5ycyvkoajtv035dpuezke-2-0.jpg Next, we zoom-in the middle of picture above.
See the next picture.
IC2 (left) is input pre-amp IC (NJM2100).
IC4 (middle) is the CODEC IC (WM8734).
IC5 (right) is the IC output (NJU7082).zoom-g1x-theres-no-sound-all-power-2ss5ycyvkoajtv035dpuezke-2-1.jpg

Test whether the input IC is working normally, turn ON G1X, plug the guitar, go to BYPASS/TUNER menu. When the TUNER function could work, certainly input IC is not damaged.
Means only two possibilities, namely CODEC and output IC. That is not easily tested, except in specific ways.

May also, there are problems in the input / output socket.
Turn ON G1X. Try the following (see figure below):
  • Test the output socket. Touch pin output socket (right red arrow) with finger / screwdriver / whatever. If sound is heard in the amplifier, the output socket is normal.
  • Test the input socket, Same as above. (left red arrow). (if this happen in this point, problem is clear).

NOTES:
If lcd light are on (as you say), but appearing G1 or d5 or bt, and the system are hang / frozen, this is a different issue to the one described above, and dealt with in different ways too.

are you going from the board to a 'mic' input, or a 'line input' on the Mac? you will need to attenuate the signal to a mic input. try reducing output from the board by 50% and reduce the input level on the Mac by 50%, and see if the distortion is lessened or eliminated. From there balance board output to Mac Input until you find what sounds good outta the Mac.

How to hook up to home amp

If home amp has a phono input and you have no turntable, plug the output of the MP3 player into the phono input and begin with the volume turned all the way down. If you do not have a phono input, you can plug something like a DJ mixer in to get that extra level of amplification you want for comfortable listening. If you do that, the MP3 player would plug into the turntable input and the mixer output would go to the available line level input of the home amp.

The CD player has either the coaxial connector, which is not common for home amps, and a pair of "RCA" jacks (right and left) which are.
The CD output can be connected to any avaialble line level input, such as anunused "Aux", "Tape In" "MD/VCR audio in, etc.

I've just got an ampkit link and downloaded the free version of the app in my 2g ipod touch, the problem is when I try to play i dont get any input or output signal. I've checked my cable and the guitar...

If you touch the area where the input and output level bars are (lower right of the screen) it will open a page called "Input Options".
Make sure the input and output gains are up about 75%. Usually the output gain is about 5-10% lower. If you're getting a button that says "No Input" where the input/output level bars should be on the lower right corner, it is telling you that your iPhone headphone/mic jack is not sensing the line from the Amplink. Leave everything connected, and exit the Ampkit program and then start it again. It should reopen with the level indicators showing. These connections are all finicky.

I am keyboard player and i want hook up an equalizer to the system where do i hook it up to

If you're only using the keyboard, connect the keyboard output to the EQ input, and EQ output to your amp.

If you have multiple instruments and a mixer, run mixer output to EQ input, EQ output to amp.

More info, let me know.
