Dredge box full light will not go off

The sensor that detects the presence of dredge drawer is not closing. Locate it and fix it or just jump the wiring to the sensor.

HI Are you leaving the machine on when you empty the dredge drawer? There has to be power for the computer to see that the dredge drawer has been removed. Leave it out at least 15 seconds, so the computer thinks you emptied it. This should clear the message.

When you go to empty the dredge drawer you must leave the machine on. When you remove the dredge drawer it will say dredge drawer missing. Leave it out at least 15 seconds so the machine knows you are empting it. When you insert it again the machine will count about 24 cycles and tell you to empty it again. Its a counter.

Leave the machine on. You need to remove the drip tray. Then pull out the big box(dredge drawer) on the right. Empty the contents. Leave it out at least 15 seconds. Then set back in its hole but don't push it in all the way. About half way in, push it the rest of the way in with 1 finger, pushing on the right side of the dredge drawer, until it stops. That way you won't have the problem of knocking off the lever on the drawer switch. You should never get the "dredge drawer missing" by doing it this way.

Simple answer is it counts how many coffees have been made. If you turn the machine off and then empty the dredge drawer the machine doesn't know this. and the light will remain on. Leaving the machine on when you empty the drawer lets the machine know that you emptied it (15 seconds out) and it will turn the light off.

Check the dredge box for the tab in back. If that is gone it won't work.

One thing you want to make sure you do is leave the machine on when you remove the drege drawer other wise the machine doesn't know that you emptied it. Remove the drip tray and pull the empty drawer out about half way and leave out for 15 seconds. Then push the drawer back in from the right front side with 1 finger. That way you make sure that you engage the switches in the machine. If you slam the drawer in you can pull it away from the switch and it will say drege drawer missing. If you put the drip tray back in, it can sometimes lift the drege drawer and disengage the switch. There is a notch in the right side of the drip tray that has a flashing on the back side of it. You can remove about an 1" of the right side of the flashing and it will stop the lifting of the drege drawer. Remember to leave the machine on when you empty the drege drawer other wise it doesn't know.

Hi When you empty the dredge drawer, the machine must be on and in use. Take the dredge drawer out and leave it out for 15 seconds. If the machine is off when you empty it doesn't know that.

When you need to empty the grounds draw remove the drip tray and pull out the dregs draw - don't open the side panel or turn off the machine, - It works for me!!
