I just need to see a routing diagram on how the drive belts go on a MTD riding lawn mower with hydrostatic drive.

Go to MTD website and download the manual for your machine.

There are five things that could be wrong. no.1 the switch to turn it on is bad, no.2 the electric clutch is burned out, no.3 the wires are broken or bad connection, no.4 a blown fuse, no. 5 broken drive belt or belts. I have provided a link to the MTD website with an 800 number you can call to verify this. MTD Products

You can find the belt diagram for the MTD Yard Machine mower in the MTD Owner Manual. The diagram is on page 21.

Looking at the IPL(exploded parts list) will give you a good look at the route of the belt. Here is a link to use and find your model
