The charging port connector on the side of the phone has a piece broken off inside and the two end wire connections are no longer in place. The result is that the battery will no longer charge. Is the connector available seperately or should I try to find one these phones dead to get replacement parts?

The power connectors that are feeding the USB from the inside seem to be ok. The data connections of the USB are bad. Maybe with some very careful professional soldering of the data connectors on the inside of the USB, your problem would be resolved.
If your Kindle (any version) is not charging because the USB port has gotten loose, try this...wrap a small piece of aluminum foil around your USB connector - the end that plugs into the device. Be careful not to extend the foil past the end of the connector, you don't want to damage your device. Plug the cable in to the outlet and into the Kindle port as usual, then watch the orange light come on!
Kindle charging ports get worn out over time, the foil is a great conductor and makes a solid connection. Obviously, you'll want to try a different cable first, but if that doesn't work, this is free and easy!
check wires....if it's not broken or damaged.....
check if cable is not broken around connector area or around plug...
check if you connected connector deep enough while charging..... check if connector on tablet is clean, if not, try to clean it, remove dust from inside
have a look at the port on your phone were u put the charging cord and see if the we part inside is broken or cracked and do the same on your power cord if u cant see anything wrong and u cheep u can always buy parts for them and take apart your iphone and replace the power socket
Have you tried a new charger? New battery? Check the charging port where the charger plugs into the handset, there should be a small pin inside, if you cant see this then its probably broken off and you will need to replace the charging connector
It is only one port on the phone what You call as charging port.
You must have some older Samsung wire this is why it is not fit in to the phone. The old and the new wire the connector look very similar but the are not a same. You need to get some new wire for the G600 phoneI hope this help Julius
it is better way if you have warranty then make use of it ...
not if you are good at opening then open it and just have a look near
port ... if you have the broken piece join it by soldering...
you dont have that broken piece then just take two small wires an d
carefully identify the positive and negative in the circuit board &
solder it near the port which is used for charging and then cut the pin
of the charger and connect the positive & negative correctly to
those wires whenever you want to charge ....
else visit the technician he will replace if the spare part of it is available ..
this doesnot charge too much it is affordable so i suggest you to visit the technician....
to where are you connecting the charger? how old is the charger? maybe the cable its broken in the inside... this usually happens at the ends of the cables or if there is a little bump somewhere.. try connecting them and play with them by moving them a little at the ends.... so there will be better a contact..
Since your phone is displaying "Not Charging" then there is a problem with your phone boss. Try changing your battery if not there is a temperature resistor inside the phone that has gone bad a good technician will do the job
