Is your TV connected to a Set Top Box (Cable TV box?).
If so, then you will get blank screen until that box is powered on. Secondly, you could check the cable (usually HDMI cable) between the SetTop Box and the TV..
Is the projector receiving a source signal? if not it will power itself down after whatever time you have it set to do so when no signal is present. Just an idea?
You need to Bypass the Receivers HDMI port and use HDMI directly to the TV. Your receiver has HDMI version 1.2a and is not 100% effective.
