Connected to my home wifi but wont load sites like Facebook or even yahoo.mail.
The problem could be one of two issues.
1. The DNS setting is incorrect on your WiFi Router or device you are connecting with.
To change this I suggest you contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and let them talk you through the steps.
2. the Firewall on you WiFi Router is on and blocking access. Log on to the router with admin, and switch the firewall off.

i think your javascript support is turned of from your browser. if you use Internet Explorer,
Go to "View -> Internet Options -> Security tab
Select "Custom" and click on the "Settings..." button
To enable: make sure "Enable" is selected under "Active scripting"
To disable: make sure "Disable" is selected under "Active scripting"
For FireFox
Go to "Tools" -> "Options"
Go to "Content" tab and "Enable JavaScript"
For Opera
Go to "Tools" -> "Preferences"
Go to "Advanced" tab -> "Content" and "Enable JavaScript"

Hi shiela1953, your difficulty really depends on where you are running into your problem and what the source of the problem is. It could be a problem with the website itself, your browser settings, or a missing step in your login process. A little more detail (such as what operating system you are using and what you have determined so far as far as knowing you are connected to your wifi router. Most computers running windows have a small icon in the lower right corner that shows the state of your internet connection. This will usually tell you if you have internet access or not. If you let me know what operating system you are running and on what computer system you are running it on I can be of more help. Please let me know.
