These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.

SOURCE: vizio p50hdtv10a led light blinks 10 times when powered off

If the problem is same with different input devices and you have ensured the are no loose contacts in power outlet, RC jack, cable and sockets, the TV needs servicing.

Picture and sound turn on and off

I believe that model has a logic board in it and that is what it sounds like to me. That is just off top of my head, but I believe if you will notice the standby light it will be blinking so many blinks and stop and then blink again. If so this is a code that you can look up on the Samsung web site and plug in your model and it should tell you what just say ~ 4 blinks means. I worked on so many and it has been a while but I believe the last one I had was a Samsung and I put a logic board in it. If I can be of any further assistance please let me know.

Power Problem with 2Wire 2701HG-B

Sounds like a startup self test. All wireless devices go through a power on self test. Does it connect? You can connect to it and go online? I rarely turn mine off, only in a electrical storm.

HP Deskjet 610CL

This is the resume button. If it is blinking and the power light is steady and if just installed a print cartridge, make sure the cartridge is securely snapped into the printer with the arrow aligned with the dots on the top of the printer cartridge cradle.
Close the top cover of the printer if it is open.
Check the lower (IN) tray to make sure it contains paper and that the paper is correctly loaded in the tray.
Press resume to clear the error condition. Then check your computer screen for any reported error message and corrective action instructions.
If the resume and power lights are blinking - press the power button to turn off the printer. At the computer, cancel any documents awaiting printing. Then press power button again to turn on computer. Good luck from Lady Isobel.

Bose lifestyle no sound

Hi, best practice when troubleshooting a no-sound Bose Lifesytle system is to first begin with the internal sources (i.e. the AM/FM). Bose Lifestyle system when connected properly (media center and bass box via the data cable) should show a steady green light underneath the bass module. Begin by simply playing AM/FM tuner and try to increase the volume till 45 (normally the sound becomes audible at this level). If the system still has no sound, then try to check if the bass module is steady green. When you see a blinking green LED (slow green) then do kindly check the DIP siwtch (red latch switch with white mini switches) just beside the Light and data connection. All of the switches should be in "ON" position (basically toggled upwards with the arrow marking indication). Before changing DIP switch settings do ensure that the bass module is not connected to the electrical power. after ensuring that all DIP switch are in the "ON" position, connect the data cable firs and then power up the bass module. Then you should see the bass module blink green twice and once you turn on the nedia center, the green blinking should turn steady green. That should sort out your problem.

Also do note tha this procedure applies only to Series II Lifesytle System and does not include the Series IV (with the smaller bass module).

If all still fails, there is an internal problem with the bass module which would require servicing.

Hope this helps!
