Brought a knew bush tv 55 inch and no sound on the tv brilliant picture can u help

SOURCE: sound but no picture on Bush HD 32 INCH TV

is this a lcd/or pl/ crt,
if crt you can see if you have g2 look at the nick of the tube to see if the filment are lit up
so tack off the back now plug the tv in now hook up cable to it now tune it on .how look at the nick
you see the ken bord on back of your picter tube.
if you see a glow you have g2. on the flyback you see screen livi. ture it up a litte. and see if pix come back if do then you fix it if you saee a line then v.ic is bad. if the ic is bad you will not git a pixt

It is most likely a faulty capacitor on the convergance or other system board that will need to be found with capacitor tester. It will need to be replaced.

Problem is in either power supply or - my bet - the Y-Sustain board.

The Y-Sustain is a relatively large board out of which go connections to the side of the display; it's therefore closer to either the left or the right side of the display, has at least one rather large heat sink on it and fat power cables connecting it to the main power supply.

Often there are fuses on that board - one or more. Check those.

if they are blown you can try to replace them, but expect them to blow again - usually the whole board needs to be replaced.

often that *needs* to be done in a service center as there are some adjustments to be made after replacement; don't know about this particular TV model.
