K800i Sony Ericsson Handset.

I have a Sony Ericsson K800i and its been working fine until just recently when my handset will not switch on . I have charged the handset and changed the battery but nothing seems to work. Any Ideas?

i also have had the problem of the K800i working ok and then all of a sudden it switched itself off and will not work. also have tried charging the battery and also swapping the battery, but no luck. it has all my telephone numbers stored on the phone memory in which i can not retrieve.

I also have this problem, i have recently upgraded this phone to a nokia N95 but was swapping the sim card from this phone to my works phone & now it wont switch on. Aaaaaarrrrgggh, please help me.

Hi Fil,
This issue can be resolved only by the sony ericsson service center. As it needs to do flash on the handset. This issue can be resolved by themselves as sony ericsson only has the solution software with them.

Call your operator and get the MMS Settings for your handset. You can open / send MMS only when you have MMS settings in your handset.

K800i pc suite

Most of the cases, we don't need the PC Suite at all to upload/download to/from a multimedia mobile handset. Please select File Transfer mode when conncting the handset to the PC using an USB cable and transfer files browsing through the memory card of the handset.

NO NETWORK COVERAGE ON MY SONY ERICSSON K800I

Try setting your handset to manual network selection and select the network for your connction provider. If you don't roam around much, this works well. Please revert back to the automatic network selection if you go on Roaming.

You will have to pair the two to work together.
Switch on Bluetooth on both devices and do a search for devices with your mobile, when it detects the handset select it and save.
