I have had the KB Gear SketchBoard Studio game for many years and just purchased a computer with Windows Vista Home version. Is this game going to work with the Vista version of Windows??? Please advise?

I have a "virtual" copy of Windows running on my computer at home that use for running older games and applications. There are several free programs out there... Microsoft has one: Virtual PC and there is a Open Source version hosted by Oracle: www.virtualbox.org With a dual-core or higher, 2GB or greater RAM, you can run a virtual desktop with ease... All you'll need is a old copy of Windows to install (e.g. Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 98)
your product key doesn't expire, it is good for the life of the machine, as along as you haven't done"too many" upgrades, you just need to install the same version as the COA on your case, and enter the key from your case during installaton
If you have a full version of Windows Vista Ultimate, you can just insert the DVD when you logged in your laptop and go to Computer(My Computer) and lauch the installer for Windows on DVD icon (Double Click DVD icon). It will give you the main window for installing Windows and along the way, you should find an Upgrade option. Click that one and it will install windows Ultimate on your system. It Will not format the laptop but installer will just add system files and features to the laptop to run Vista Ultimate.
**If you haven't purhcase a Windows Vista Ultimate Disc, check this link to to purchase just an upgrade Disc (only) of Vista Ultimate.
your best bet is to use a later driver (for win95 or win98, maybe even win2000) and right click, compatability, and whatever system the driver is for. look for the driver via the net
considering it is a wacom tablet, there may be a generic driver that works fine with your sketchboard studio. I have never used one before, though i recently pulled out an old one of mine (its has a db9 serial plug) that i never knew i had. I'm getting a dongle to use it with my laptop, so maybe the generic driver is your best bet, good luck hunting for one, tho.
