We recently went to use our new Breville espresso machine and after filling the water tray, attempted to turn the power on by pressing the power button but nothing happened. We checked the power source (ie. plug in) and it was working fine. We suspect that someone turned the power on when there was no water in the tray and possibly burned out the elements. Where can we find a manual to disassemble the machine and locate a reset button or replace the heating elements?
There is a post with a solution for this with the title: "Machine won't turn on - no power! " - fixmebob has a good solution, but you'll need to be a little tech savvy to perform it yourself. I ended up sending mine in for repair, which ended up being about $55 because I had to ship the machine. But good news is that I'm back up and running.

Same thing happened to us this morning. Just in time for thanksgiving. Customer Service was useless. They gave me a number to a service shop here in Manhattan which doesn't sound to promising. If I hear anything back I will let you know asap.
Does anyone know if there is a reset button before I throw it in trash?
