I have the same radio, the radio's harrness has a red wire ignition 12 volt,yellow battery 12 volt, black ground, and a blue Iam not positive it can be the amp, or illumination.

For the stereo the following will work.
if you take a 9v battery, and touch it to the speaker wires, you can find out which wire goes to which speaker, OR you need only 3 wires ( memory, power, ground) to power the radio, then you should be able to figure out which are the speakers, or attach a speaker, and use fader and balance to figure out which channell that is on the radio

It doesn't need an amp, it has one built into the radio. You may have it wired wrong. Please tell me what color the wires are coming from the radio that you have connected to the speakers. Each channel has it's own color, with the black stripe wire being the negative for each channel. Example: the gray wire is positive for front left speaker and the grey with a black stripe is the negative for the front left. Make sure that none of your speaker wires are grounded to the chassis.
you need to remove the radio and swap the red wire for the yellow wire and vice versa, they have bullet connectors to allow you to do this, basically the permanent live and the ignition live are the wrong way round.
