I have two HP LaserJet 1300n printers and like all printers after use (or misuse) they will need PM or repair. The problem with the paper wrinkling is easy. If you have worked on printers then you can make the repair for about $8 - $20 and a couple hours. You can find the service manual at HP's website or online. It is typically a roller or the fuser film is torn. Disassemble the printer/fuser in accordance with the service manual or break out pic, clean, replace part and reassemble. For those who do not want to DIY then you can buy the entire fuser assembly on multiple sites anywhere for refurb w/core exchange to new for $70 - $150. The printers are good printers but like all mechanical devices, they will fail...it's just when and how.

what application are you printing from? also, can you do a print preview to see if there are more than one page? if that works, then your printer mechanism is not following the driver information from the print queue manager.

SOURCE: Mis-alignment during printing of labels sheets

Solution!! Use "HP premium Plus Photo Paper" for the paper type setting. Works great with Avery labels & card stock as well. (business cards had the same alignment problem)

SOURCE: Problem printing multiple pages on one sheet!

The problem is the PCL5 driver.
Replace it with a PCL6 driver.

Apparently, Microsoft issued an update that broke PCL5 drivers.
Perhaps they were trying to save paper. LOL!

You can fix this by turning off bidirectional support:

- Right click your printer, select properties
- go to the ports tab, uncheck Enable bidirectional support.

Your printer has to be turned on before printing.

That fixed the extra page printing S1M problem for me.

Hello joe,hope you are well.Canon copiers have literally hundreds of "meters " that the device is constantly monitoring.Things like the number of 11x17 scans,reports printed,incoming faxes,outgoing faxes,prints at 600 dpi....etc.Its wild.The device is capable of displaying to the customer a total of six meters.The displayed meters may be customized for the customer by a technician as per the customers request or needs.Each meter is named by a number,for example "101".That particular meter indicates the total of how many sheets of paper(regardless of size) that have successfully exited the machine.102 meter indicates the total number of sheets that have been output using 8.5 X 11' as the basis.So a sheet of 11x17 paper would increment the 101 meter once,but the 102 meter would "click" twice.For billing purposes my company keeps an eye on the 102 meter to maximize profit,as it should be.Now how Canon determined the display of the other meters you see is a mystery.Again there is a meter named 958,which is the number of documents scanned to the MAILBOX. So, to completely answer your question: 108 is the total black and white copies made regardless of size.230 is just color and monocolor regardless of size.321 is{your gonna love this one}color prints on 11x17.322 is color prints on 8.5x11.So there ya' go! All of the following is done on the Printer, not your computer keyboard.
Press the printer's Menu button. Then press the down arrow until Configure appears. Press return. Press the down arrow until Reports appears. Press Return. Press the down arrow until Printer Settings appears. Press return again. You will now get a report sheet printed which will include the Total number of sheets printed, the total Colour sheets and the total B/W sheets plus other information.

Brother MFC 4420C prints plain sheets of paper.
To start ensure that is not a software problem.
Go to Control Panel >> Installed Printers. Remove the printer. Install the printer again using the software disk or downloading the driver software from Brother website.
If that does not fix the problem, and the printer prints blank sheets, then it is usually a clogged printhead.
The printheads can be cleaned removing the ink carriage and soaking it in isopropyl alcohol overnight. If that does not work, then the printhead must be replaced.
