How can I log into Facebook, and know, that the Malware that appeared is cleaned up?

As far as I know, Kaspersky is perfectly legal. It is one of the top virus scan programs. I would follow Kaspersky's advice and scan and clean as advised.

Login to your mate's account and then logout. Clear the cache of the browser your are using and then restart the browser. Now open facebook and try.
