Bad circuit board tail light asseblise connector pin to board poor connection or burned push in light bulb sockets
On my '93 Chevy PU the new ones went bad within months I repaired the original ones by soldering all connector pins to the board cleaned the sockets chipping out melted plastic been working for five years now.
Care must be taken to keep solder from preventing wire connector install while using enough that plugging it in will not break these delicate unions.
Required pulling them several times to Finnish repair successfully.
Very disappointed in replacement parts.

Brake lights and rear turn signals dont work in my 2008 dodge charger

If both the brake lights and rear turn signals are not functioning in your 2008 Dodge Charger, there are several possible causes to consider. Here are some common issues that could lead to this problem:
1. Blown fuses: Check the fuse box for any blown fuses related to the brake lights and turn signals. A blown fuse can interrupt the circuit and prevent the lights from working. Refer to your vehicle's manual to locate the specific fuse for these functions and replace it if necessary.
2. Faulty bulbs: Inspect the bulbs in the brake lights and turn signals to see if they are burnt out or damaged. If a bulb is not working, it should be replaced. It's possible that multiple bulbs have failed simultaneously, leading to both the brake lights and turn signals not functioning.
3. Wiring issues: Check the wiring connections and harnesses for any signs of damage, loose connections, or corrosion. Faulty wiring can disrupt the electrical flow and prevent the lights from operating. Repair or replace any damaged wiring as needed.
4. Malfunctioning brake light switch: The brake light switch, located near the brake pedal, activates the brake lights when the pedal is pressed. If the switch is faulty or misaligned, it can cause the brake lights to not work. Consider having the brake light switch inspected and replaced if necessary.
5. Faulty turn signal relay: The turn signal relay controls the flashing of the turn signals. If the relay is defective, it can prevent the rear turn signals from operating. Consider replacing the turn signal relay if other potential causes have been ruled out.
If troubleshooting these common issues does not resolve the problem, it is recommended to consult a professional mechanic or authorized Dodge service center for a more accurate diagnosis and repair. They will have the expertise and necessary tools to pinpoint and fix the specific issue with your 2008 Dodge Charger's brake lights and rear turn signals.

2002 foot brake does not make the brake lights come on.

It is possible that removing the LED lights may have caused some electrical issues that are preventing your brake lights from working properly. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the brake light switch: The brake light switch is typically located near the brake pedal. When you press the brake pedal, the switch is activated and sends a signal to the brake lights to turn on. Check the switch to make sure it is properly connected and functioning correctly.
  2. Check the brake light fuse: If the brake light switch is functioning correctly, check the fuse for the brake lights. The fuse panel is typically located under the seat or behind the side cover. Refer to the owner's manual for the exact location and fuse rating.
  3. Check the wiring: If the brake light switch and fuse are both functioning correctly, the problem may be with the wiring. Check the wiring for any damage or loose connections. Look for any signs of corrosion, frayed wires, or broken connections.
  4. Check the bulb: If the wiring appears to be intact, check the bulb for the brake light. Remove the bulb and inspect it for any signs of damage or wear. Replace the bulb if necessary.
If you are still experiencing issues after checking these steps, it may be best to take your motorcycle to a qualified mechanic for further diagnosis and repair.

I have 87 celica ... brake lights failure, checked fuse, brake pedal switch, replaced globes. The equivalent camry model has a light failure censor.I can not find any lamp failure box on this car.

Check that the switch is functioning on and off, check the connection for corrosion/corroded wiring. Check the tail lights wiring for the same and ground wires for corrosion. Swap out the pedal switch with another one after you inspect all wiring and that the wiring harnesses and connections are in good shape.

Brake lights are stuck on in 94 honda civic

Check to see if the switch, even though its new, is functioning properly. Perhaps check your wiring harness that the switch connects to to see if there is any damage like cracks or corrosion. Check back tailight wiring harness are in good condition and the bulb contacts are clean and free of corrosion and the contacts themself are clean and in good condition and getting power and grounded.

20 amp fuse for brake lights continually blows out

you have a short in the wiring to your brake circuit.check the pedal switch,it could be cracked and shorting out.those switches are known for having the tail lights stay on until you hit it a few times.the other thing to check is the light assemblies.there may be enough corrosion to cause a short.instead of a fuse, wire a bulb across an open fuse.when the short shows up the bulb will light.use a 25 watt bulb.

My Brake lights don't work

2004 Rx8 kept blowing 15amp brake light fuse. Solution: wire going to rear lights was worn and frayed where it feeds through the left trunk lip on left side of trunk. This can be seen when you open the trunk lid. The wire routes by the trunk lid hinge. If the support connectors come loose, the wires are crunched by the hinge or lid. Re-splice, insulate, zip-tie, replace fuse and replace any blown bulbs.
