The battery packs don't come apart for charging as they are a sealed unit. If you have the correct charger for you drill the battery pack sits in the charger.

The battery charger should hold the battery in the same way your tool holds it for charging if the charger you have does not I would contact the manufacturer to check what retailer would carry the proper charger for your application

I need a battery for my 18v stramm cordless drill, smm18cd?

If you have a battery pack that needs replaced and you can't find a replacement then look to see if the battery pack will open and look to see if the battery pack consists of several small batteries that are connected. I have rebuilt many battery packs at great savings by doing this. You look at the voltage of the drill and the number of small batteries along with their dimensions and type of battery and order the correct voltage and specs that will total the voltage of the drill. You can also buy solder tabs made of nichol and pay close attention to the positive and negative ends of the batteries and actually replace the batteries in the same neg / pos sequence as the original batteries. It works.

Where to get replacement batteries for mastercraft maximum 10.8 v drill?

Open up the battery container and replace the cells yourself at much lower cost than getting a new pack if you can get it at all.

Harbor freight has battery pack on sale often and for about 13 dollars you can get an 18 volt pack with 12 separate cells. Swap those for your old worn batteries and you are good to go.

Check electrical contacts in drill body where battery connects. Check wiring inside the drill, trigger and check also brushes. You do not have to invest 329, you can buy "body only" machine for few bucks and reuse your charger and battery packs. Juraj

Dewalt cordless 12v drill, 3speed model...spinning problem

Sounds like your brushes are either damaged or the armature is failing the current. Remove the brushes first and inspect them, that is where your arcing is coming from. If the brushes appear ok, your problem is in the armature itself. Regardless of low use, if you store the unit with the battery attached, there are issues with the current draw while stored.

The screws are a T10 tamperproof torx. After removing the 4 of them you need a small pick to push into the holes on both sides of the battery while applying some upward pressure on the top case. There are small clips in the top housing that you are trying to release. Let me know if I can help further

SKIL 18V BATTERY PACK

There are three visble screws and one hidden. Use the right size torx driver if you have it, or a small allen wrench works too and undo the screw that is visble on one side of the pack. Snap the false bottom off of the pack and reveal two more screws to remove. One screw is behid a plastic cap over a fourth obvious screw location. Drill the cap and unscre this screw also. Be sure there are no lables holding the two side together. Pressing down on the battery holdin clasp makes the sides easier to separate. Watch for falling parts. That's it!
