It the Clock is not on, the Microwave does not work. There is a Clock button, but pressing it does no good. Yet, I can set the cooking time OK, but if the Clock is not ON,it does not work. Help Bruce.
On some ovens, the clock would go blank when you opened the door. The same thing would happen if one of the door switches failed, or was not activated by the latch mechanism. I'd check that first. Otherwise, it could be a failure of the electronics in the control panel, or something else.
