Remotes open and close garage door and safety reversing sensors working correctly. can't get multifunctional door control to work nor lights on unit itself
I'm not familiar with the whisper drive but I would start with the most obvious place for a problem. There are two units at teach side at the bottom of the door jam. They have to be lined up for the door to work. This is the most frequent problem I have found because they are close to the floor and can be bumped out of alignment. Check to see if one of them have been moved. Most of these little plastic units have a plastic locator pin in the top of the unit. these pins snap into the mounting bracket. If the unit has been bumped just move the pin until it snaps back into the bracket. I'm not a contractor but I have seen this happen a lot with friends and family. Ask the easy questions first. Is it plugged in? Is the breaker in the power panel tripped? Good luck

If the wall button will operate the door up but none of the devices do then look at the wall button. Find the lock button and push it for 2 seconds and then try the remotes again. This is your vacation lock. You can get a manual at chamberlain.com. Now if the door does not open or close with the remotes you can reprogram them. Press the colored learn button on the motor head and then press the button on the remote. Repeat for each remote. If they fail to program you will need a new logic board. Thanks BB

As I have mentioned in other post, re-program travel and force limits. Make sure that travel limit (down) does not go too far (thus excessive force). Apparently this system has a force sensor that senses if there is something in the way of the door. This is different from the safety sensor "eyes". The problem in your setup is that you have programmed the door to travel down too much and he system looses its ability to use force sensor. Adjust travel limit (down) to a little less travel and you will be fine.

It sounds like the door is your problem.
Check the counter balance spring above the door. It is likely broken.
If the door cannot be operated manually, the garage door opener will not open it either. The machine is made to operate a door that works correctly. If the door is broken, the machine will not work either.
It also sounds like the opener gears may be worn out. That also occurs because the door required service.

Probably just a burned-out light bulb. The "click" you hear is the relay closing. Replace the bulb. *Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer, despite the handle. The blinking LED light will tell you what has caused the opener to stop working. Count the number of times it blinks after you press the button, then refer to the opener manual. If you do not have the manual, you can usually find it online.
If the safety-eyes are not aligned properly, or blocked, the opener will not function. It will open, but not close. It could also be a part inside the motor that has malfunctioned- usually a circuit board or RPM sensor.
See our tips and tricks page for a more detailed explanation, as well as a few maintenance tips to keep the opener working properly.
