I brought a acura 2005 mdx with a Farenheit DVD player installed the video plays very well but I have No sound and i do not have the manuel but i do have the wireless remote

Did you try tuning in to FM 88.7, this should pick up dvd audio

the best advice there is to contact the manufacturer and see if they sell it seperately. i don't know that you will find any out for sale otherwise. i'm thinking about trying a universal from radio shack for my in dash pioneer.??!

Some dealers installed a modulator for the radio; look under your driver's side dash to see if there is a small on/off toggle switch. If there is, flip it 'on', tune the radio to 89.1 and you should get audio.

If they haven't installed this, no problem. You can buy a modulator from most electronic stores that is used to play MP3 players through the car stereo; instead of an MP3 player, simply plug the cable into the headphone jack of your DVD player.

OK....Pull the dvd player out. Look to see if it has speaker wires coming off the back. If not, does it have rca plugs???? (red and white). if so then you are gonna need an amplifier to get sound. If it DOES hve speaker wires, chec to see if they are hooked up to the speakers in the vehicle.

The trim panel around the NAV unit just pops out, there are 4-6 screws which hold the NAV unit in place. Disconnect the wires (they only fit in the correct holes) and pull it out.
