When trying to use office word starter I get asked for user name and initials every time I log on. After that it goes to the Microsoft Office window and I have to accept the license agreement.

Then goes to a window where I have to choose if I want automatic update or no updates. This started around 4-1-16. Never had this problem before that. This happens every time I log on to my laptop

Ask at Microsoft.com forum , there?
or learn that if PC had this new, it is in fact crippleware.
and will nag you until you buy it or do the rent things, 360 jive.
best is buy it and set it up like you went.
even 2007 runs here on w10. office.

the PCs most on earth new, come with free but fully crippleware.
as do vast other bloatware loaded on new PC.
I erase all that junk and set up my own things paid and licensed.

W3107 desktop pc microsoft office word 2003 product key user name initial organization

I highly doubt anyone here will give you their key. If you want to use word, their is a free office suite known as Open Office. If you want the software, i suggest buying it, or asking a friend or family member.

Error code 1406 on windows vista when tryin to install microsoft office 2007 help

Hello

Here's a link to the Microsoft supportcenter with one explanation.
There are several, but this due to installing Microsoft Office.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/838687/en-us

Befor you try Method 1 (Dealing with your registry) try the method 2
deaktivating your spy and adware software (which might be the ones, who don't
allow you to change registry)..

And about being logged on as administrator.
Notice that in Vista, you are normally logged on as standard user, and when
you are to use admin priviledges, you are being asked for.

Finally:
In Microsoft Supportcenter you can always make a search for an error.
Remember, if an error occuring got a number, it is known, otherwise it
couldn't have a number.

Hope this can solve your problem.

Best regards
Andrea

Outlook 2007 will not start. Get Message: Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. And a big red X

Try this, sometimes you can get outlook to boot into safemode and then do a backup of your pst, uninstall outlook and reinstall, then import from your pst. Use User-Initiated Safe mode To start a Microsoft Office program in User-Initiated Safe mode:
default.aspx?assetid=za790050011033On the Microsoft Windows Start menu
  1. Click Start, point to All Programs, and then point to Microsoft Office.
  2. Press and hold the CTRL key, and then click the name of the Microsoft Office program that you want to run.
default.aspx?assetid=za790050001033In the Command Prompt window
At the command prompt, use the /safe option when you start the program.
To stop User-Initiated Safe mode, exit the program then start it again normally.
What User-Initiated Safe mode does The following restrictions apply when you start a program in User-Initiated Safe mode. (Some items listed below do not apply to all Microsoft Office programs.)

I have installed Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 but, each time I try to open Word or Excel, I get the Windows Installer window which asks me to wait while it configures Office. The Word 2007 Window...

Is the account you use an administrator account? The reason I ask is I have seen similar bahavior on office 2000 where the user account does not have the rights to set up Word properly. If it is limited user, temporarily make the account administrator, load word, and then close it. then put the account back limited user if you wish, it should not need admin again. Microsoft never test their products on limited user accounts....
