How to fix a TV that has half of the screen black after being knocked over.

I have a Toshiba 55" flat screen TV, only a month old. The model number is 55L310U. The TV was knocked over, it was not a hard fall. It fell over on to carpet, I did not think it was hard enough to cause damage. Everything is working properly except half the screen is black. The sound is working and the picture is displaying fine on the right side. I found googling that the T-con board may need to be replaced. I was wondering if it was possible something came loose as well?
