SOURCE: Temperature Control not working on LG fridge

It is an error code. The thermal fuse in the freezer section has gone. It has to be replaced. To get by in the short term, uplug the unit for 15 minutes, then plug it back in. It will run until it hits the defrost again (approx 5 hours) Part location is 401A and part number is 6615JB2005C. It is easy to change once you get the back cover off. Plug in part.

SOURCE: control panel on my fridge

Pull the power cord for 5 minute to reset the control board. if this control panel malfunction still exist after the reset, replace the control circuit board.

This is a typical control fault that should be corrected by pulling power for 5 minutes. if not, this reset will confirm major damaged to the circuit board.

SOURCE: I have a GE profile fridge model # PFS22S1SBSS.

I am surprised you were able to do diagnostics without the service manual or do you have one? I think you need to test each thermistor per test point on the motherboard. If the damper door is electric controlled then you must locate the thermistor that appears to be whacking out on you. My manual is about the only copy I have of GE's Artica/Profiles and I see yours appears to be bottom freezer. I think the thermistor is not signaling correctly and may be located near the auto vent. Maytag fridge bepping lights out MFI2568AES...fridge and freezer working..what could it be... Beeping all night long..

Fridge keeps beeping or buzzing: The following is for Frigidaire models but others can be addressed similarly.

Several Frigidaire refrigerator models have an electronic control panel on the freezer door the owner can use to adjust the internal temperature, dispense ice and water and receive notification about issues such as the need to replace a water filter. The refrigerators also emit a beep for various actions and as an occasional alarm. Determining what causes the beeps necessitates some troubleshooting.
Temperature Controls ·A Frigidaire refrigerator's display panel blinks when the control panel is touched to set temperature controls. After pressing "Freezer Temp" or "Refrigerator Temp" on the keypad, press the arrow buttons within five seconds to increase or decrease the desired temperature. If you do not press the arrow buttons within five seconds after pressing "Freezer Temp" or "Refrigerator Temp" on the keypad, the refrigerator beeps to indicate the current setting will stay in place.

Door Open ·When you leave the refrigerator or freezer door open, the refrigerator beeps. Also, the "Door Ajar" indicator illuminates on the appliance's display panel. Shutting the door and pressing "Alarm Reset" stops the beeping and turns off the "Door Ajar" indicator light.
·The Frigidaire refrigerator has a control lock feature that prevents use of its control panel or dispensers when the unit is locked. When the control lock is active, a beep sounds when a keypad or dispenser is pressed. Release the control lock by pressing the "Control Lock" icon for three seconds. A beep will sound, and the icon's light will go out.
Power Reset ·A power reset is occasionally necessary if the Frigidaire refrigerator's control panel does not work normally or a reset function on the keypad does not work. A power reset involves disconnecting power to the refrigerator by unplugging its power cord from the electrical outlet, waiting 30 seconds and plugging the power cord back into the electrical outlet. When the control panel resets, a beep sounds. If the refrigerator beeps even after a power reset and the beeps' source is not known, contact Frigidaire.

No temp lights on fridge or frezer panel.light on in frezer not in fridge

Try cycling the power. Switch of the fridge at its isolator (or wall socket), leave for 1 minute and switch on again.

Consult your owner manual for guidance.

If still under warranty, contact your dealer.

It is probably no more expensive than a CONTROL BOARD...
POSSIBLY as cheap as a door switch...

It is sensing a DOOR ALARM... and quite reasonably
stopping ... and alarming.

You need to find the PIZZA box, poor door alignment
or FAULTY circuitry that is causing the ALARM.

ELSE
Contact the maker for support
(on your back panel... or by reading your Owners Manual).

Red high temperature warning indictor light on how can I fix this

Hi,

Not all refrigerators work the same, for example, Whirlpool has a temp button located on the control panel within the fridge section. By pushing this button reset with turn off the alarm. Again, ever unit and manufacture has different ways of correcting this issue. Are you having temperature issues? Are the compartments cold enough to hold food or drinks? Was there a power outage that caused this alarm to go off recently? This is an alarm system designed to alert you of a possible issue.
I hope this helps.
Look online under the manufacture name or call the manufacture directly and they should be able to assist on the light issue. You may be able to contact a service center to answers to clear this issue from the panel. 1-800-496-2982 ask for Bob. He can assist you in the issue if needed.

Good Luck
