IPhone has just randomly deleted all photos in my Camera+ app. I'm desperate to get them back - does anyone know how? I bought Phone Rescue software but no luck. Why would iPhone do this!!?

It looks like the photos aren't even registering in the phone memory anywhere. when i check my phone usage it says the app only has 85mb of data only an hour ago was about 3GB. maybe i'm being naive but how is it possible for iPhone to just delete data without your approval?

It's wired. You can have a try Leawo iOS Data Recovery to recover the deleted photos on iPhone. Just follow the below steps.

The following guidance will introduce how to recover photos from iPhone backup and iCloud backup with Leawo iOS Data Recovery, and you can free download the program to have a try.

Section 1: How to recover deleted photos from iTunes Backup

Step 1: Select Recover from iTunes
Run Leawo iOS Data Recovery and choose Recover from iTunes Backup.

Step 2: Scan iPhone Backup
Select the iPhone backup and click Scan at the right bottom.

Step 3: Select Photos to Recover
Check Camera Roll and select the photos you need. Then click Recover.

Step 4: Choose Target Folder
Click Open in the pop-up dialog to choose a target folder on your computer. Then click Go to start recovering photos from iPhone 6 backup.

Section 2. Recover Deleted Photos from iCloud Backup

Step 1: Choose Recover from iCloud
Run Leawo iOS Data Recovery and choose Recover from iCloud Backup.

Step 2: Log in with Apple ID
Enter your Apple ID and log in.

Step 3: Select iPhone Backup
Select the iPhone backup and click Download at the right bottom.

Step 4: Select Photos to Extract
After the program downloaded the backup, check Camera Roll and select the photos you need.

Step 5: Choose Target Folder
Click Open in the pop-up dialog to choose a folder on your computer. Then click Go.
When the recovering process is done, you will get the photos in the target folder. The photos can be imported to your iPhone X again with no efforts.
Actually, with Leawo iOS Data Recovery, you could not only recover deleted data and files from iPhone, but also export data and files from iPhone to computer as backup, such as exporting iPhone notes to computer. Unlike iTunes that will store all data and file from iPhone to computer, Leawo iOS Data Recovery allows selective data and file backup, which is much more convenient.

Camera+ randomly lost all of my photos. It says there are still 409 photos but when i open the lightbox it says no photos. Please help

I have had success with this camera photo recovery software... Download the photo recovery program
http://www.asoftech.com/apr/

You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.

My son mistakenly deleted his pics from his Kodak EasyShare M1033. Is there any way to retrieve them?

Yes, but you will need to purchase a "Rescue" program such as Rescue - Pro, this enables you to search a camera memory card, and retrieve the last images taken.  Beware however that if your son has taken more photos after the ones he deleted then the "Rescue" software may have trouble.
The best option is to withdraw the camera card from use until you have used the "Rescue" software, to prevent corruption to the image files. These programs are available for down load off the web, at very reasonable prices, or maybe available when purchased with a high end memory card, such as San Disk Extreme IV Series Cards.
Hope this helps Ian

When I plug in my Iphone computer shuts down

MUCH BETTER SOLUTION:
1. Sometimes iphone connection software( espescially on the camera roll) can be confused with software from other drivers such as webcam drivers. LOGITECH ESPESCIALLY
2. If you do have logitech installed or any other webcam then uninstall all software from this.
3. To do this : Go to start, control panel, add/remove programs and select the logitech or any other software affiliated with the webcam . Uninstall it and then restart your computer.
4. Your problem should now be fixed.

p.s. I had been trying for ages until i found this simple solution which worked instantly.
