Have you checked the belt? or motor could be going out.

Did you check belt? Is motor running? If motor is not running replace after you ensure that the power is applied to motor. The motors go bad and it is not uncommon.

Yes you can. I have that set-up in my house. The only problem is when moisture laden swamp cooled air goes past the heat exchanger. This could cause the exchanger to rust out, allowing carbon monoxide to come into the house when the heater is used. This can be avoidid by having a one way damper made by an HVAC shop, and installing it at the heater.

A swamp cooler PUMP is not really model specific. They are basically small submersible pumps. Contact ANY swamp cooler dealer in LV, tell them you have a 4500 CFM unit and need a pump.
The pump part number for this size cooler is: PN 110436 (there are several alternates)

If they can not help you... just look under cooling and air-conditioning in the yellow pages and find a dealer near you. This pump is common to nearly every brand in LV. You can most likely buy one at the local home depot, menards, or lowes.
There is also a Little Giant CK-5 "UTILITY"pump that is used for swamp coolers.

Hi,

You will need to figure the cubic feet of space you want to cool, and then divide that number by two. The quotient will give you the CFM rating for the proper-sized swamp cooler.

The solution is to install "up ducts" These devices are easy to install and are fairly cheap. With a swamp cooler the best way to use them is to allow them to draft outside with the "up duct" you get the drafting to the outside but also get to remove attic heat too.

Because an air conditioner is a condenser... so it's going to release water!

is the pump youll have to take off a panel make sure the pump has water. what is the relative humidity if it is high swampers don't work very well .Tom
