How do I get rid of the shadow that appears to the left of the projected image ?

The shadow is caused by projected light from the unit outside the image field. I have the same problem, and I just tend to ignore it. I have tried various settings and sizes to minimize the effect, but some shadow always remains. This is true with any projector.

I have a Canon printer. Whenever pictures or text gets a double or blurry image I open the printer solutions menu. It sounds as though there is a problem with inkjet alignment. By clicking the realignment button the printer will automatically realign the jets. I usually test the alignment by printing a page from that program. All the line segments should line up.

I have shadowing on the edges when in wide-screen. When in normal screen the image is fine. How do I get rid of the shadow? Also, is there a way to clean the mirror inside the unit?

the only way to properly and safely clean anything inside is with canned air. as for the shadow, replace the light tunnel. you can get the part from an infocus service center and replace it yourself, or send it in for repair. either way, try av solutions in ny. they're really good. www.avsolutionsny.com

How do I stop shadows on my subjects faces when photographing outside

Force the flash to go off, this will get rid of any shadows on people. If it's bright outside, the flash won't fire automatically, you need to force it.
