Question about Pioneer AVIC-D3 Car DVD Player

I have a Pioneer AVIC D3 in dash sat/radio/dvd/navi/monitor in our motorhome. It has stopped working as a rear view monitor. How do I fix it?

This unit used to work as a rear view monitor as we drove down the street but it recently stopped that function. It does work as a back up camera and side view turning monitor. Can you help me with the settings that need to be corrected to return to rear view monitor while driving down the road?

It is a common issue for the Avic N series. If it is out of warranty then the guy on Ebay will fix it for you for around $100. Try SAME DAY AUDIO SERVICE, his name is Rick and he is very reliable. Goodluck.

Changed battery in the car. Now Pioneer AVIC-D3 will not power on. Can you help. Fuse seems to be fine

by pulling the battery you have activated the theft code
reinstall the code into the radio and it will work again

You need rear view camera in back of car /truck.
This is attached to reverse light ,live and negative
and live run to the monitor while monitor earthed.
Just you tube it.

Lorex surveillance cameras just went blank. I have an old computer that had microsoft security essentials on it but microsoft recently stop supporting it could this be the cause?

I have a nikon d80 for the the last couple of years the live view on the monitor has worked ok. ie when i switch on the camera the monitor shows what i am about to shoot. Tonoght this feature stopped...

Apparently there was something seriously wrong with your camera, which has now fixed itself. Nikon didn't put the LiveView feature into the their DSLRs until the D3 and the D300, which were released after the D80. The more recent D90 has this feature, but not the D80.

D80 Monitor does not function as view finder.

To be able to do what you want, your camera would have to have a feature called "live view"....yours does not.

Do you think I'm overlooking something? I just finished connecting the Pioneer Car DVD player, when completed, I reconnected all A/C connectors, hazard connections, and misc. connections. When I powered the car, I noticed my A/C is no longer powering on. I disconnected the wires again, and reconnected them again and still its not working.
