Has flexible gas line to connects to vehicles gas system. Read owners manual ax my require hose to be connected through a quick-disconnect, AFTER the unit is pulled out. Be safe, read the owners manual. See Jayco's website if you need an owners manual for your unit. Congrats. Great camper.

just guessing but could be bad gas (use gas line antifreeze, and add new gas) or it could be a coil breaking down once it gets hot. Check gas line filter and make sure gas is flowing freely.
My father did this same conversion to his old Jeep, a long time ago. lol He created a mount that he could use to secure the gas can to the rear, exterior. He ran a fuel line from the gas can and ran it underneath, along the frame. He bought a 17PSI, in-line, fuel pump and connected it between the new fuel line and the old existing one (going to the engine). If your vehicle has a "Fuel Return Line" that will need to be spliced into the new fuel-line. This type of repair isn't considered to be safe or legal and would not be pass a state inspection. As a mechanic I would recommend fixing it the right way. If your set on installing a gas can. Please think it through. Location, materials used, how hoses are run and secured, is very important. An exposed gas can can create a hazard, if struck or crushed. I hope that helps, good luck.
turn off gas source, check gas line for possible blockage to that 3rd burner, sometimes when we cook food with liquid , such as sauces or soups , then tend to overflow and get into the burners and the gas lines causing a blocked gas line, where the lower half of gas line is filled with liquid,,,
will need to completely drain tank, either remove tank from car or if has an external electric fuel pump you can disconnect fuel line between pump and engine, connect 12v battery to power supply of pump and pump gas out. make sure to run line to bucket to collect gas/water mix, remember water is heavier that gas so water will be on bottom of tank and first to pump out
The small diameter fuel line that has the fuel filter in the tank on it goes directly to the carburetor (with the built-in primer or externally mounted primer). IF the carb has the external primer, the small line goes to the nipple on the carburetor opposite the end with the hole in the cover. If it has the built-in primer on it, it goes to the carb body on the nipple furthest from the bulb. The large diameter line is the fuel return line and if the carb has the bulb on it, this line connects on the nipple closest to primer bulb.. With the externally mounted primer, this line connects on the longest nipple coming out of the primer and goes to the fuel tank (not the filter though). There is a nylon connector inside the tank that holds this larger line in place. The shorter nipple on primer bulb has a smaller diameter fuel line connected to it and connects to the nipple on the carb closest to the end with the hole in the cover. Built in primer has 2 fuel lines...externally mounted has 3.
Usually the line with the filter on it that comes from the tank goes to carb. inlet first which is most likely close to the bottom side of the carb.nearest to the engine, then the outlet or return line on the carb.goes to the inlet side of the primer and the outlet side of the primer goes back to the tank. The primer draws fuel through the carb to the primer to the tank if its not? then correct the line connections until it does
Hi this is the way it should go: 1 from the filter in the tank to the bottom of the carby,2 from the top of the carby to the inlet on the primer,3 from the outlet on the primer back to the tank as this is the return line nothing goes onto it.
Look a little harder, there should'nt be any external oil lines on your bike, that's probably gas so don't start your bike until you plug that line back into a carb most likely....Good Luck to you friend....Tim
