When printing the sheet comes out half black

Hi it is not the toner but it could be a developing unit or transfer roller.
But since on b6500 the developer unit is changed with the toner it is probably the transfer roler or HV unit.

It is either the toner cartridge or the fuser.
Put paper in the manual feed tray.
Print the Configuration Pages.
When the sheet is half way fed into the printer, open the top cover.
Remove the toner and look at the sheet of paper. If you see the black streak, the toner is bad.
If the sheet looks good, the fuser is bad. Probably a bad roller, which you can see looking at the fuser.

Toner is not distributed evenly, so try again with shaking buy only sideways and try again.

There is a good chance the laser unit polygonal mirror is dirty. It spins at high speed and the lead edge generally gets dirty. Try removing it with care, cleaning the polygonal mirror and the lens's in the lazer unit

remove the toner cartridge from printer and shake it well and insert it back and see the result of print

Hi Phillip,
If you have changed the drum and toner, then check the fuser unit. The teflon coating on fuser film could be worn.
