Ok so it started just going off/on.So watched some You Tube videos. I unplugged the Y and X board at separate times and still am getting the clicking off/on. So I un plugged the Logic board from the power supply and still got it. so then i unplugged from the components board and it starts up. but no picture. So is it the logic board or the component board?

One fix will not repair all sets, It could be the logic board or just as easy The Y or X boards, or mabe a simple LVDS cable. But to just buy board till the set runs could get real spendy, so best advice is to take it to the shop

your logic board is bad replace it and you should be fine unless your panel went bad i can walk u through to find out requirs volt meter

It is the Main A/V board that is faulty, not the power supply. The rainbow screen that you are seeing and the searching for signal message before it shuts off confirms this. It is the large board at the center of the tv. If you can get me the part number off it, I can find you the replacement. It will be either printed on the board itself or on a small label.

Yes,T-Con board is dead.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish T-Con board for the replacement.

you will need to check weather the 24vdc supply for the inverter board is good no drop voltage. if no supply check the power supply board. then you should check if their is a inv_on signal at the power inverter board around 3v-4.4vdc . if goes out during power on tried to disconnect the supply going to the inverter board to ensure if their is a shorted parts in the inverter board. if the inverter_on signal also goes out even with out inverter board connected that was mean you have problem in the processor board.
