Trying to get my z885 to load onto my new windows 7 computer. Says I need a new driver. So I googled it, butonly found drivers for xp, win200 etc. None for win7. any help?

After having retrieved the driver: Please follow the following steps 1: Connect the camera to the computer using the USB cable, U-8. 2: Turn the camera on 3: A window will automatically appear on your display. If no window appears: 3: Go into my documents 4: Find the location of the camera and your pictures 5 Drag and drop from the camera to the computer

Just buy a card reader to download your pics...don't worry about the driver.

Go onto Google and type in the make (eg Brother) and the model number and then type the word driver. You need to know the operating system on your computer - windows XP, Windows 7 etc. You should then be taken to a page with links to drivers. Try to select the manufacturers website as a first choice. Download the driver onto you pc - then run it (double click on the file you have just downloaded if it does not automatically start).

Plustek Optipro 9636T - working under Windows 7.

If you scanner only has Win XP drivers, then you have only two choices as those drivers wont work on WIN 7. One is to buy a new scanner, as you have already suggested. The other is to create a virtual machine, load WIN XP onto it, and then install the scanner drivers on the virtual machine. This should work fine as I do it for a piece of software that only works on WIN XP, however it is a bit of a inconvenience to use.

Your friend is correct...you could cause problems trying to install an old software program on Windows 7 (although it probably would just reject it). Windows 7 sometimes comes with photo editing software already loaded. If not, there are free programs you could download (use Google to find them) or you could come into the 21st century, shell out $99 and buy a copy of Photoshop Elements which will open up a whole new world to you! Does your camera use a memory card? If so, the best way to download is to use a separate card reader. See the picture of one I've included. Also, you might want to consider upgrading to a new camera....The new ones are awsome!

Win 7 is extremely touchy about network drivers. I didn't see your computer model listed but you'll need to log onto your computer manufacturers support page and download the Win 7 drivers for the network. Since your internet connection doesn't work right now I'd suggest another machine, if you have one or go to your local library with a Flash Drive and download the drivers to that. Good Luck

Download and install the latest dongle drivers prior to installing the 4D Embroidery System. Failure to do this, may result in the "Dongle driver not found (E0009)" when you try to open the 4D modules.
Please follow the steps below to install the latest dongle drivers BEFORE installing the 4D Embroidery System

Download and install the latest Dongle Drivers.
Insert your 4D Dongle.
Install your 4D Embroidery System software (and all updates).
Open your 4D Embroidery System software to confirm that your dongle is working correctly.

If you installed the 4D Embroidery System software before installing the latest dongle drivers and if you experience problems such as the error message "Unable to start hasplms service..."; download and install the latest Dongle Drivers.

you are most likely getting a BSOD with a stop error code of 0x0000007B which is caused by the Windows XP CD that you are using doesn't have the SATA Hard Drive controller driver needed to recognize and utilize the hard drive. If Lenovo has XP drivers for this model then they should have a SATA driver (roughly 394k) that will need to be loaded FROM A FLOPPY DISKETTE during the boot to XP. (XP Requires the driver to either be slipstreamed into the CD or loaded from a floppy diskette. Trying to load the controller driver USB or a different CD will not work)

Starting from the start plug in the device and XP will detect and look for new drivers a search for drivers is usually done in the inf directory under windows or winnt directory If a driver is not found the computer pops up a question did a Cd or software come with this device if you install the software the a reboot is usally needed if you do not do a reboot you can try once the drivers have been installed unplug the device and plug it back in again the computer will search for the new drivers that are installed and should set up the device to work If it does not work you will need to get driver for the device that will work with XP I have a scanner than need XP drivers but will work on one of the older computers but not XP
