Testimonial: "it is a Samsung twin cool from 2003. it is not possible to see a model number, it is white from Korea."

There should be a tag on the inside of the fresh food section that gives the model number also you could check the owner's manual if you have it sometimes you can find an extra sticker on the back

Fridgemaster fridge freezer does not cool. Both fridge compartment and freezer not cool. I have put my ear to the compressor and i dont hear anything whatsoever even though i know that the electrical feed...

if you dont know anything about electricity and how to probe around safely please let a professional technician service the fridge as its very dangerous to poke around live wires if you do not have a clue what you are doing but if you know how to be safe around live wires you can try:
you will have to probe around a bit with either a test light or a voltmeter.
first : does the light in the fridge come on when you open the door? if yes skip to the bit about the compressor
find the connection the power cable comes in to the fridge and probe for power. if there is power continue on probing. if not replace the power cable
is there power on the compressor? if yes and its not running its broken and need to be serviced or replaced by a technician
if not its likely the "brains" of the fridge (temp controller. level switch. etc)

easiest would be to get a technician to look at it as most likely you would have to call one anyways to fix whatever is wrong

I have whirlpool refrigrator top freezer, model w10142155a. problem is that its both fan does not work, the fan with compresor and the fan on freezer both are still...!! we tryied much to rotate the fans...

If both of your fans and the compressor is not running you are having one of two problems.

1st and most usual problem is faulty defrost timer. To check this you must find where your defrost timer is located (usually this is mounted in the fridge section on the celing near the thermostat) Take a flat head screwdriver and turn the timer untill the fridge comes on. If you turn it and it clicks and the fridge comes on you should replace the defrost timer.

2nd you may have a faulty thermostat. To check this you need to locate the thermostat in your fridge (this is the one that supplies power to all the components) find where the two wires connect in to it. Disconnect power and disconnect thoes two wire. With a ohm meter or a multi meter your need to read continuity across the two spades on the thermostat at the same time turn the knob on the thermostat untill you hear an audiable beep from the meter or you read resistance across the two spades.

From what you have stated above I believe your problem is going to be a faulty defrost timer.

Fridge and freezer are cool but not cold.fan in freezer doesnt come on the 15 times i checked. compressor is working and the evap fan is working .drain is clear

Have press in on door swtich. This might stop power to fan. Also some fans dont come on unless a tempstat is cold enough. With the box running take the freezer back panel down and see if you have frost on coil and the whole coil is covered with frost, If you dont you have a seal system problem. and need a tech. I hope this helps

My fridge wasnt cold yesterday but the light was on and the freezer worked but this morning the freezer has started to defrost and everything was warm in the fridge

If you cant hear the compressor running and he fan under the fridge and in the freezer compartment are not running. The problem would be your defrost timer has quit on the defrost mode. Your defrost timer should be located in the fridge side behind the back plastic liner or if your controls and light are in the center top it will be there. The timer is plastic with a metal motor on one side. There is a shaft in the center that a flatblade screw driver will fit in turn it and you will hear audible clicks and the fans and compressor should kick in. I hope this helps. If the fans are working but the compressor is not the compressor is bad or the start relay on the compressor may be bad it is located under a plastic cap on the compressor and is about the size of a nickle and is connected to one of the 3 prongs coming out of the compressor. Remember to always unplug the fridge before working on it. good luck

I have a Brandt Apollo frost free fridge freezer which is malfunctioning, it is about four years old. The fridge section is dead whilst he freezer funtions. I noticed also that the interior light had got...

it may be repairable. setting the freezer aside for a moment, check to see if the fans come on when you first plug it in. make sure the vents dont have food debris in front of them. If the fans do not come on, you may be able to simply replace the fan or fans that pull warm air and blow cool air into the fridge. they get there cooling from the same coils and the freezer is working, so must be fans or fan relay

Freezer is ok, but fridge is not cold enough

5 reasons for fridge and/or freezer getting warm: 1- the evaporator coils are icing up and won?t let air circulate. 2- the evaporator fan is not working to circulate air. 3- there is no refrigerant in the system. 4- no power to fridge or compressor. 5- the condenser coils have no air circulation check under the fridge behind the vent. if it is too dusty or the fan isn?t working, it is not getting enough airflow to cool down. replace fan and/or vacuum out the dust. if there is no power to the fridge, the light will be off. if the compressor is not running, there is a defrost timer that cuts the power temporarily to the compressor to melt ice on the coils. it?s located under the fridge behind the bottom vent. If the timer is off and the compressor is not going, the compressor or the main board is bad and needs replacing. there is also a temperature sensor on the evaporator coils that tells the defrost coil to turn on and when to turn off. if the defrost timer is on but the coil is not heating up, replace the sensor. if it still won?t heat up, it?s the timer or the coil. the easiest way to tell if there is no refrigerant- the freezer wall is warm and the compressor is loud. if there is no refrigerant, it may be more cost effective to replace the fridge. if you feel no air coming from the freezer vent, the fan needs replacing. If you feel air moving in the freezer but not the fridge, the channel from freezer to fridge is blocked.

Fridge freezer not working after power cut

If the fan motor is running at the compressor you should first replace the compressor start relay.
If the fan motor at the compressor is not running replace the defrost control.
