Open the compartment: Use a screwdriver or your fingers to open the compartment door. Remove the old battery: Remove the old battery and dispose of it properly
You don't mention the kind of your clock. Manual or Digitally ? if it digital you have to do some like a change system alarm every hours need beep or not. Just like that. That the best way i think.
I can't find answers anywhere on how to open battery compartment for the Elgin cat & fish bowl mini clock! I've searched the clock...I don't see any access points and the internet, nothing...I did read some where that the original packaging does not come with instructions, which leads me to believe it can't be changed, leaving it "one and done"! That makes no sense considering it is an Elgin... I saw one on the site...Worth Point, I think that's what it's called??? It described it as "easy to change" although lol I'm sure they have no clue! So, it's still a mystery...I've nearly scratched mine up so I'm leaving as is sadly! Good luck!

I have the ALCK 487 (mini clock I can stick to anything, since it has a backing strip) and I can't remove the function that makes it bleep every hour on the hour
Answer: Press and hold "S". If you see the seven days of the week, press "M" to erase them. it will stop beeping every hour
