My programinning shows grey screen. How can I get it to normal screen?

Connect your laptop to an external monitor and switch to monitor. If the external monitor shows the desktop, then the complaint is in the lcd/led display unit means the screen. Replace the screen. If the external monitor also shows the complaint, then it is normally due the mch(media controller hub) . It comes as separate card unit in some models and onboard for some other models.Only an experienced technician can solve that issue. In some rare cases it is due to a corrupted BIOS. you will need to re-install the operating system.
insert your cd/dvd with operating system and boot from dhe cd/dvd drive.
follow the on-screen instructions

This is usually a problem associated with NOD32 or Cisco software conflicting with drivers or other software. If you can get past the grey screen even once, uninstall the software and reboot. If you can't get past the grey screen at all, then you might have to completely reinstall windows :(.

I'd look for professional hands-on help in this case if you're not comfortable doing this.

Mine was doing the same thing. i checked all the fuse connections and found 1 was bad and that solved my problem. good luck

% blinks for your model means a video output abnormality. which translates into IC7101, IC7201 or IC7301 on C board circuit is faulty or else its transistors Q510, Q516 or Q524 are faulty on the A board. I would check the transistors first for being faulty and if they check out then suspect one of the ICs

go to Safe Mode and uninstall the older version of the driver of the VGA Card... reboot in normal mode, it has to login to the windows with no driver for VGA Adapater ... try to find the newest driver on internet and install it .. it should solve the problem

Normally there are two reasons for the given problem. 1). Bad or defective CCD. and/or 2). shutter not working. in the first case the only solution is the replacement of the CCD. and in the later case sticking of shutter blade, non functioning of shutter blade will cause the problem. This can be rectified by sending it to some repairer.

i think it's the case of damaged flexible cable to the lcd screen from the camera. a replacement will do the job
