How do I contact kindle in uk ?

I've heard of these problems before but without knowing your exact model number just try pressing and holding the power button for a FULL 40 seconds. Ensure that it is not plugged into any power outlet or PC first. Hold it for 40 seconds. Time yourself. Better to go longer than not the full 40. Hope that helps. After you've done that, power it back up.

I ordered Priory by Dorothy Whipple for my Kindle today costing £8 but was told I already had it archived so I cancelled my order. Ive now been told the new order and the archived item are being...

It may be that you accidentally ordered it twice, and they've just canceled the second order. Check in your Amazon account (Your account-Your orders-Digital orders) and see if you've actually been charged for this book. If you have, and it's really not available for downloading to your Kindle or already on it, contact them through <https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/contact-us> with the dates you ordered and paid for the book. I've always found Kindle customer service swift, competent, and fair in adjusting errors.

My Kindle 3G seems to have frozen.

Hello,
Amazon recommends the following steps. As I'm sure you have already tried the power switch, try starting from Step #5 to do a hard reset on your Kindle.

Source: Amazon.com

  1. Unplug Kindle from power adapter or computer.
  2. Slide and release the power button. The LED light that surrounds the power button will display green for two seconds.
  3. Shut down Kindle by sliding and holding the power button for five seconds. The LED light will blink three times. Wait for the screen to go blank, then release the power button.
  4. Turn on the Kindle by sliding and releasing the power button.
  5. If Kindle is still not working, you can perform a hard reset by sliding and holding the power button for 15 seconds.
  6. If Kindle is still unresponsive, try charging Kindle before trying to restart the device once again.
  7. Make sure you have the latest software version available installed on your Kindle. The latest version is available here: www.amazon.com/kindlesoftwareupdates
Please let me know if I can assist you further.
