I stript the gears of my Kitchenaid linguini cutter. It does not appear to have a shear shaft. I could not remove the gears. Does anyone know how to I remove and replace them?

First I would find a repair depot for kitchen Aid and see if parts are still available for your model and if they will sell them to end users. They may also be able to help with a parts blowup diagram.

I have an earlier all stainless non-electric Bodum tea kettle

It will be hard to find a repairman and certainly not a DIY soldering project. That said, I would crazy glue the bottom rim thoroughly before giving up. Suggest get some idea from a reputable hardware/houseware store. Bev, Sorry no solution that's easy!

Anyone got any wok cooking tips for me? I am starting to get really into Asian cooking and just bought myself a cheap wok at the supermarket but need to know how best to use it.

Good on you for branching out and trying new types of foods. Here is an article with some wok tips that might help you. Just make sure you oil the wok properly and don't clean it afterwards with an abrasive sponge;
