Problem with Flash in FZ8

Check the settings... some specific settings like multi burst and video mode will not allow you to shoot with flash... Also try resetting the Camera.

hi your unit may has dirty on the switch of cover detect or impact damaged. your local repair shop would charge around $65 to 185 depend on what they really want to charge. Thanks and best regard!

hi there, you can simply choose MENU, then select RESET so you can clear all the settings to default menu

Well the only one I cam up with was in a PDF format I can't send you the file open but I can send you the link and it's huge, you will have to highlight copy and past it in your browser window

Then click on the open button and the process will begin

Flash is deactivated in motion picture mode, scenery, night scenery, sunset, highsens, starry sky, fireworks or aerial photo in scene mode.

Could be a capacitor problem.

in the menu there is an option called conversion. this needs to be off for the flash to work. I had the same problem and this fixed it. good luck.

You should be able to download your pictures with almost any graphics program. You can also use the program that came on lab lade disks a few years ago. You can try the manufacturer for a program, if you registered when you bought it.
