This happens when the Keylock on some (usually older PCs or PCs used in corporate environments. Those PC actually fitted with a physical Key lock and usually comes with a small lock and a key. try to locate the lock on the casing. If you can find it just short circuit the two wires and you can access the keyboard. It you can't locate it, it means the lock is removed and you'll have to locate the connector /jumper on the motherboard by carefully inspecting it. It could have some writings to identify it (KYLCK, KBLOCK, KEYLOCK etc). Again short circuit it and try. Do not do this if you are unfamiliar with PC hardware and leave it to a professional.

IF KEYLOCK BROKEN YOU WONT BEABLE TO TURN IGNITION KEY OR GET CAR OUT OF PARK.

According to pg. 45 in the owner's manual, you turn Keylock function ON by holding down the ENTER key on the projector for about 5 seconds while the projector is being turned on.

To take the Keylock off-- Hold down the ENTER key on the projector for about 5 seconds. If the projector is in standby mode, you can release the keylock by holding down ENTER and STANDBY/ON keys simultaneously for about 5 seconds.

The keypad may be locked. Lock and Unlock procedure is below:

To turn off the Keylock, press FUNC then . The scanner beeps 3 times and Key unlocked appears.

To turn on the Keylock, press FUNC then . Key locked appears for about 1 second. Key locked appears when you press any key.

Depending on your phone model, you can activate the automatic keylock. When the automatic keylock is activated, the keypad locks shortly after you stop pressing keys.
Please note: with some phones you can still use external keys when the keypad is locked. If you wish to lock the external keys you must lock them separately.

Hi, It sounds to me like your keypad is locked. Pg 63 of your manual.
***using the keylock ***
Once you program your scanner, you can protect it from accidental program changes by turning on the key lock feature. When the keypad is locked, the only controls that operate are FUNC, key , SQ, and VOL. You cannot activate the keylock while you are entering a frequency into a channel. To turn on the keylock, press FUNC then key . Key locked appears for about 1 second. Key locked appears when you press any key after locking the keypad.
To turn off the keylock, press FUNC then key . The scanner beeps three times and Key unlocked appears.
The only other choice I see if that does not work would be to initialize it. Pg 84 of your manual. Hope this helps you,, Mechanic

Power off your display monitor then hold down the down arrow key on the monitor at the same time you power on the monitor. This should unlock the monitor keylock [email protected]
